Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai peran wanita Baduy dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga. Penelitian tersebut dilakukan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan bulan April 2017 bertempat di Desa Kanekes, Kecamatan Leuwidamar, Kabupaten Lebak, Provinsi Banten. Metode yang digunakan yakni metode pendekatan kualitatif yang menjadikan peneliti sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul diperiksa dengan menggunakan teknik perpanjangan pengamatan, triangulasi, kecukupan referensial, dan auditing dengan dosen pembimbing. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa peran wanita Baduy dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga yang Pertama, Mengalami pergeseran peran dari petani tradisional menjadi pengrajin tenun di sektor pariwisata karena dilatarbelakangi oleh faktor internal yaitu kebutuhan finansial dan kebutuhan akan aktualisasi diri. Faktor eksternal yaitu pariwisata dan kemajuan teknologi. Kedua, Eksistensi peran wanita Baduy dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga adalah sebagai peran tradisional yang bekerja di sektor domestik berhubungan dengan konsep budaya Baduy sendiri yaitu konsep Ambu, Sebagai peran transisi wanita Baduy merupakan pencari nafkah tambahan yaitu sebagai pengrajin tenun, dan Sebagai peran sosial wanita Baduy memiliki peran penting dalam segala upacara adat yang berhubungan dengan konsep budaya Baduy yaitu Nyi Pohaci. The study aims to obtain data on the role of Baduy women in fulfillment family needs. The study was conducted from February till April 2017 took place in the village of Kanekes, Leuwidamar subdistrict, Lebak, Banten Province. The method used the qualitative approach that makes the researcher as an instrument of data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. On the other hand, collected data is investigated by using extensive observation tehnique, triangulation, referential adequacy, and auditing by the supervisor. The result of the study about the role of Baduy women in the fulfillment family needs shows the following conclusions: First, experiencing the role shift of traditional farmers become weavers in the tourism sector because it is motivated by internal factors are the financial needs and the need for self-actualization. External factors are tourism and technological advancement. Second, the existence of Baduy women's role in fulfillment family needs is a traditional role as domestic workers influential cultural concept Baduy itself, namely the concept of Ambu. It is a role of the transition of Baduy women as weavers for additional income, and as the social role of Bedouin women who have an important role in all the ceremonies that are influenced by the Baduy culture concept namely Nyi Pohaci.
