Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai pola celana panjang wanita sistem MH Wancik dan Soekarno pada wanita bertubuh gemuk, dimana wanita bertubuh gemuk sering mengalami permasalan pada bagian pesak karena terdapat penimbunan lemak pada bagian tubuh bawah diantaranya; perut, panggul dan paha. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data tentang perbandingan dua sistem pola yang berbeda dengan menggunakan sistem MH Wancik dan sistem Soekarno pada wanita bertubuh gemuk. Penelitian ini menggunakan dua variabel yaitu variabel bebas dan variabel terikat. Variabel bebas yaitu pola celana panjang wanita sistem MH Wancik dan sistem Soekarno dan variabel terikatnya yaitu kualitas hasil celana panjang wanita bertubuh gemuk. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Tata Busana pada semester ganjil tahun 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif dengan menggunakan penelitian komparatif. Dalam penelitian ini mengguanakan 5 orang panelis sebagai informan. Instrumen pada penelitian ini menggunakan Rating Scale dengan rentang skor 1-3, yang memiliki 5 indikator yaitu; penampilan celana bagian depan, samping, belakang, kedudukan/ketetapan letak bagian-bagian celana, dan keluwesan bergerak. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 10 potong celana panjang wanita dengan 2 sistem yang berbeda. Sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu pertama kelompok X, terdiri atas 5 potong celana panjang wanita sistem MH Wancik dan kedua adalah kelompok Y terdiri atas 5 potong celana panjang wanita sistem Soekarno. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji analisis deskiptif. Dalam penelitian ini sistem Soekarno lebih baik pada penampilan keseluruhan bagian muka, samping, dan belakang tetapi kurang baik pada penampilan pesak, pada sistem MH Wancik lebih baik pada kedudukan/ketetapan letak bagian-bagian celana, dan keluwesan dalam bergerak tetapi kurang baik pada bagian keseluhan sisi celana. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem Soekarno lebih baik dibandingkan dengan sistem MH Wancik, dan terdapat kelebihan - kekurangan dari kedua sistem tersebut. *This study describes the pattern of female trousers MH Wancik system and Sukarno system in overweight women, where women overweight often has a problem in pesak pattern because there is an accumulation of fat in the lower body including; abdomen, hips and thighs. The purpose of this study is to obtain data on the comparison of the two systems different patterns using the MH Wancik system and the Sukarno system in overweight women. This study uses two variables, they are independent and the dependent variable. The independent variable is the pattern of female trousers Wancik MH system and Sukarno system and the dependent variable is the quality of the overweight woman trousers. This research was conducted in the Laboratory of dressmaking class at term first semester of the year 2014/2015. The method used in this research is descriptive by using a comparative study. In this study to use 5 panelists as informants. Instruments in this study using the Rating Scale scores range 1-3, which has five indicators, namely; appearance pants front, side, rear, position/location determination parts pants, and flexibility moves. The samples are women trousers 10 pieces with two different systems. The samples were divided into two groups: the first group X, consists of 5 pieces of trousers woman Wancik MH system and the second is the group Y consists of 5 pieces of trousers woman Soekarno system. The data analysis technique used is the analysis descriptively. The research Sukarno system better on the overall appearance of the face, side, and rear but less good at pesak appearance, the MH Wancik system better at the position/location of the provisions of sections pants, and flexibility in moving but less well on the side keseluhan pants. From the results it can be concluded that the research Soekarno system better than MH Wancik system, and there are advantages - disadvantages of both systems
