Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis timbulnya permasalahan transportasi yang dilakukan supir angkutan umum saat bekerja. Selain itu, juga membahas relasi kerja supir angkutan umum dalam struktur industri jasa transportasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Subyek penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang yang terdiri dari informan kunci dan informan pendukung. Informan kunci adalah supir dengan pengalaman bekerja lebih dari 20 tahun dan perwakilan perusahaan. Informan pendukung berjumlah 6 orang yakni masing-masing dua dari supir bus Mayasari Bakti kode trayek P02AC, P98A, dan P9B. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara mendalam, observasi, studi pustaka, dan analisis data. Berdasarkan temuan data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dapat dilihat bahwa timbulnya permasalahan transportasi yang dilakukan supir saat bekerja disebabkan oleh dua faktor, yaitu realitas pemenuhan tanggung jawab kepada perusahaan, dan relasi antar aktor saat supir angkutan umum bekerja. Untuk pemenuhan tanggung jawab kerja terdapat informasi pekerjaan supir angkutan umum fokus pada jumlah setoran penumpang. Semakin tinggi jumlah penumpang yang didapat akan semakin tinggi pula penghasilan yang diperoleh supir. Sedangkan pada pembahasan relasi antar aktor terdapat dua pembahasan yakni relasi antar aktor di perusahaan dan di lingkungan. Bentuk relasi kerja terjadi dalam dua bentuk, yakni official dan unofficial yang mempengaruhi struktur kerja jasa transportasi. This research objection are (1) to analy2ze the emerge of transportation problem that appear when public transportation driver are working. (2) to describe relation of transportation public driver that work in transportation service industry structure. This research is using qualitative approach with case study method. The total of subjects are eight people. Which is, main informant and supportive informant. Main informant of this research is the driver who already work as a driver for twenty years and the emmisary of company. Supportive informant are six people that each two driver who has different route code like P02AC, P98A, and P9B. Data collected by deep interview, observe, literature study, and data analyze. Based on data, this research found that the problem of transportation appear caused by two factor. First, fulfill the responsibility of the driver as the worker of public transportation company. Second, the relation of the driver that affect their work. The responsiblites of the driver is amount income that gained from the consumer, this must match with the target of the company. However, the relation of the driver divided by two description which is the relation between driver and the company, and the driver with their social enviroment while they’re work.
