Abstract
Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan modul IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik materi gaya di kelas V sekolah dasar. Responden dalam pengembangan ini meliputi dari satu dosen ahli media, satu dosen ahli bahasa, satu dosen ahli materi, guru kelas V sebanyak 2 orang, peserta didik kelas V SDN Kelapa Gading Barat 01 Pagi Jakarta Utara sebanyak 12 peserta didik, dan peserta didik kelas V di SDN Menteng Atas 11 Pagi Jakarta Selatan sebanyak 29 peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (R & D), dengan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan data (research and information collecting), perencanaan (planning), pengembangan draf produk (develop preliminary form of product), uji coba lapangan awal (preliminary field testing), merevisi hasil uji coba (main product revision), uji coba lapangan (main field testing), penyempurnaan produk hasil uji lapangan (operasional product revision), uji pelaksanaan lapangan (operasional field testing), dan penyempurnaan produk akhir (final product revision). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik evaluasi formatif meliputi tahap expert review, one to one, small group, dan field test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa modul IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik materi gaya dinilai sangat baik dan dapat mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami materi gaya. oleh sebab itu, guru dan peserta didik perlu menggunakan modul IPA berbasis pendekatan saintifik agar dapat memfasilitasi proses belajar peserta didik secara menyeluruh meliputi aspek pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan ************ This study was aimed to create teaching materials of Science lesson with Force subject scientific approach in the fifth grade of elementary school students. The respondents of this study include one lecturer mastered in media, 1 lecturer mastered in language, 1 lecturer mastered in the materials, 2 teachers of the fifth grade, 12 fifth grade students of 01 Kelapa Gading Barat Elementary School (morning class) in Jakarta Utara and 29 fifth grade students of 11 Menteng Atas Elementary School (morning class) in Jakarta Selatan. The method used in this study was research and development method (R & D) with the expansion mode from Borg and Gall which are research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, operational product revision, operational field testing and final product revision. The data was collected using formative evaluation technique which includes expert review, one to one, small group, and field test stages. The result of this study was teaching materials of Science lesson with Force subject scientific approach was well-founded and it can ease the students in understanding Force subject. Therefore, teachers and students should use teaching materials of Science lesson with force subject scientific approach in order to facilitate students’s learning activity thoroughly including knowledge, behaviour and skills.
