Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendaur ulang limbah dalam upaya meningkatkan nilai jual limbah perca kaos yang dibuat produk kerah lepas dengan teknik crochet. Pemilihan daur ulang perca limbah kaos yang dibuat produk kerah lepas ini karena kerah lepas masih belum banyak di pasaran. Penelitian ini dilakukan di laboratorium Tata Busana, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Pada semester genap dan ganjil tahun 2016/2017. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian kualiatatif deskriptif yang dilakukan daur ulang limbah perca kaos yang dibuat produk kerah lepas dengan teknik crochet. Berdasarkan dari lima panelis diantaranya 3 dosen ahli, 1 designer, dan 1 pengusaha dibidang busana. Dengan menggunakan penilaian berdasarkan teori produk. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa daur ulang limbah dalam upaya meningkatkan nilai jual limbah kaos yang dibuat kerah lepas dengan teknik crochet ini jika dilihat dari teori produk sudah cukup baik, dapat mengurangi limbah, dapat meningkatkan nilai jual, dan dapat memberikan salah satu cara dalam daur ulang limbah untuk menjadi sebuah produk. The results of this study indicate that the recycling of waste in an effort to increase the sale value of waste the shirt collar made off with the technique of crochet is when seen from the theory of the product is good enough, can reduce waste, can increase the sale value, and may provide one way of recycling the waste to be a product.
