Abstract

Kehadiran laboratorium komputer sangat membantu dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran pada lingkup perkuliahan. Namun user laboratorium cenderung sering mengubah konfigurasi komputer. Konfigurasi oleh asisten laboratorium sendiri pun kadang mengalami kesalahan, sehingga perbaikan harus dilakukan satu persatu tiap komputer laboratorium. Penggunaan Active Directory dapat disebarkan dengan mudah melalui server. Batasan – batasan terkait kelompok user diterapkan berdasarkan fungsinya. Kegiatan administrasi langsung terpusat pada server juga memudahkan para asisten laboratorium dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Selain itu, layanan instalasi sistem operasi secara remote yang dilayani oleh server juga memudahkan proses instalasi ulang sistem operasi. Hasilnya, pemanfaatan sistem itu sendiri dapat membantu tugas asisten laboratorium dalam perubahan konfigurasi internal terkait batasan – batasan yang ditetapkan pada user tertentu. Penelitian dilakukan selama bulan Mei hingga bulan Desember 2016. Penelitian bermula dengan merumuskan masalah melalui hasil wawancara dan observasi, lalu merancang jaringan komputer dan active directory, lalu melakukan implementasi active directory dan terminal service, lalu dilakukan pengujian dengan metode black-box testing guna mengetahui kesalahan fungsi dari tiap fitur, lalu melakukan uji User Acceptance Test (UAT) yang dilakukan oleh ahli. The presence of the computer labolatory is very helpful in supporting a learning process of the course. However, laboratory users tend to frequently change the configuration of the computer. Configuration by its own laboratory assistants were sometimes encountered an error, so the repair must be done one by one for each computer. The use of Active Directory can be spread easily through the server. Restrictions regarding the applicable user groups by its function. Direct administrative activity centered on server also allows the laboratory assistant in performing their duties. In addition, the operating system installation services remotely served by the server also facilitates the process of reinstalling the operating system. As a result, use of the system itself can help the task a laboratory assistant in the internal configuration changes related to limits that are set on a specific user. The study was conducted during the months of May to December 2016. The study begins by defining the problem through interviews and observations, and designing computer networks and active directory, and then implement Active Directory and terminal service, then testing with black-box testing methods to determine fault the function of each feature, and then test the User Acceptance test (UAT) performed by experts.
