Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan citra perempuan pada tokoh pramugari dalam novel Diary Pramugari: Seks, Cinta, & Kehidupan karya Agung Webe dan novel Cabin Note karya Pratiwi Hidayat. Citra perempuan dalam kedua novel ini dikaji menggunakan pendekatan struktural dan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik analisis isi. Data-data dalam skripsi berasal dari kepustakaan. Masalah pokok yang menjadi fokus penelitian, yaitu bagaimana mendeskripsikan citra tokoh-tokoh perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel Diary Pramugari: Seks, Cinta & Kehidupan dan Cabin Notes. Pendekatan kritik sastra feminis digunakan untuk untuk menganalisis teks sastra dengan konteks resepsi tokoh perempuan yang terdapat dalam novel. Citra tokoh perempuan kemudian diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga, yaitu aspek fisik, aspek psikis, dan aspek sosial. Hasil dari analisis pada novel Diary Pramugari: Seks, Cinta, & Kehidupan karya Agung Webe dan novel Cabin Note karya Pratiwi Hidayat, citra perempuan yang banyak ditemukan adalah citra perempuan dalam aspek psikis. sedangkan, citra perempuan dalam aspek fisik adalah citra yang paling sedikit ditemukan. Kedua pengarang sama�sama ingin menunjukan bahwa perempuan adalah sosok yang pantang menyera This study aims to describe the image of women in the cast of a stewardess in the novel Diary of a flight attendant: sex, love,& Life, paper of Agung Webe and novel Cabin Note paper of Pratiwi Hidayat. The image of women in both novels is examined using a structural approach and the approach of feminist literary criticism. The method used is descriptive qualitative method, with content analysis techniques. Data in the essay comes from the library. A major problem that became the focus of research, namely how to describe the image of female characters who featured in the novel Diary of a flight attendant: sex, love and Life & Cabin Notes. Feminist literary criticism approach used for to analyze literary texts in the context of the reception of the female characters who featured in the novel. The image of the woman then classified into three aspects, aspects of physical, psychological aspects, and the social aspects. The results of the analysis on the novel Diary of a flight attendant: sex, love, &Life paper of Agung Webe and novel Cabin Note paper of Pratiwi Hidayat, the image of women that is found is the image of women in the psychic aspects. Meanwhile, the image of women in the physical aspect is the image of the least discovered. Both authors alike want to show that the woman is the figure who never give up.
