Abstract

Skripsi yang berupa penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk�bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat pada novel Le Petit Chose karya Alphonse Daudet. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif-deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik analisis data oleh Miles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat pada novel tersebut, digunakan 5 jenis tindak tutur yang digagas oleh Searle. Adapun 5 jenis tindak tutur ilokusi tersebut adalah assertif, direktif, promissif, ekspresif dan deklaratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tindak tutur ilokusi yang paling banyak ditemukan pada novel Le Petit Chose adalah tindak tutur direktif sebanyak 26 tuturan dari 51, disertai juga oleh 6 tuturan ekspresif dan 4 tuturan komisif yang terdapat dalam novel tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan agar mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis dapat mengetahui dan memahami jenis-jenis tindak tutur ilokusi dalam suatu percakapan serta dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih mendalam khususnya kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Prancis yang mengikuti mata kuliah Réception Orale, Production Orale, Réception Écrite, Production Écrite dan Linguistique. This thesis aims to determine the forms of illocutionary speech act contained in the novel Le Petit Chose by Alphonse Daudet. The type of research used in this thesis is qualitative-descriptive research using the data analysis techniques by Miles and Huberman, ranging from data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. To determine the forms of illocutionary speech act contained in the novel, the author used 5 types of speech acts initiated by Searle. Those 5 types of speech acts are assertive, directive, promissive, expressive, and declarative. The results of this study indicate that the most illocutionary speech act found in the novel Le Petit Chose is the directive speech act. The author has found 26 directive speeches from the total of 51 findings, accompanied also by 6 expressive speech, and 4 commisive speech contained in the novel. From the results of this study, it is expected that the students from The Department of French Language able to understand the types of speech act illocutionary in a conversation, and also to provide deeper insight, especially to the students who take the Listening Comprehension, Speaking Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, Writing Comprehension, and Linguistics courses.
