Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami makna dan hakikat maskulinitas yang direfleksikan dalam komik Pandji Tengkorak karya Hans Jaladara serta menguraikan beberapa aspek-aspek maskulinitas yang ditinjau dengan teori semiotika.Unsur semiotika tersebut meliputi denotasi, konotasi dan mitos. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tahap ana lisis dengan cara membongkar ke lima komik yang digunakan dan mencari 1actor�unsur maskulinitas dengan melihat visualisasi pada panel komik dan balon kata yang diterapkan dalam teorinya Mc.Cloud. Kemudian dianalisis dengan memasukan kedalam table semiotika Roland Barthes yang diantaranya meliputi penanda, petanda, denotasi, konotasi dan mitos. Tahap selanjutnya dalam interpretasi data adalah merepresentasikan makna maskulinitas dengan menghubungkan aspek gender dana spek budaya popular. Representasi yang digunakan adalah representasi Stuart Hall.Hasil beberapa 1actor-faktor maskulinitas. Diantaranya supremasi kejantanan, machoisme, faktorfisik, factor psikis, factor kompenssasi negative dan factor pemimpin. This study aims to understand the meaning and essence of masculinity which is reflected in the works of Hans comic Pandji Tengkorak by Hans Jaladara and describe some aspects of masculinity that are reviewed by the theory of semiotics. Elements of semiotics include denotation, connotation and myth. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. Phase ana lysis by dismantling to five comics used and look for actor-element masculinity by viewing the visualization on the panel comics and the bubble that is applied in theory Mc.Cloud. Then analyzed by entering into the semiotics of Roland Barthes table which among others include markers, markers, denotation, connotation and myth. The next stage in the interpretation of the data is to represent the meaning of masculinity by connecting the spec fund gender aspects of popular culture. Representation used is the representation of Stuart Hall. The results of several actor-factor masculinity. Among the supremacy of virility, machoisme, physical factors, psychological factors, negative compensation factor and factor leader.
