Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data empiris yang valid, dan dapat dipercaya (reliable) tentang apakah hubungan antara ingkungan kerja dengan semangat kerja karyawan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT. Serasi shipping Indonesia Jakarta utara, selama delapan bulan terhitung sejak oktober 2012 sampai dengan Mei 2013. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik acak sederhana. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan pada PT. Serasi shipping Indonesia Jakarta Utara, dan populasi terjangkaunya yaitu karyawan pada Departement Back Room Support Function yang berjumlah 58 orang. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 51 karyawan. Untuk menjaring data dari kedua variabel digunakan kuesioner model skala likert untuk lingkungan kerja (Variabel X) dan semangat kerja (Variabel Y). Uji persyaratan analisia yaitu uji normalitas galat taksiran regresi Y atas X dengan uji liliefors menghasilkan L hitung = 0.099, sedangkan L tabel untuk n = 51 pada taraf signifikan 0.05 adalah 0.124. Karena L hitung < L tabel maka galat taksiran Y atas X berdistribusi normal. Persamaan regresi yang dihasilkan adalah Ŷ = 64.63 + 0.602X. Dari uji keberatian regresi menghasilkan F hitung > F tabel yaitu 15.14 > 4.04, artinya persamaan regresi tersebut signifikan. Uji linieritas regresi menghasilkan F hitung < F tabel yaitu 1.23 < 1.94, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa persamaan regresi tersebut linier. Koefisien korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson menghasilkan rxy = 0.486, selanjutnya dilakukan uji keberatian koefisien korelasi dengan menggunakan uji t dan dihasilkan t hitung = 3.89 dan t tabel = 1.68. dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa koefisien korelasi rxy = 0.486 adalah signifikan. Koefisien determinasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0.2360 yang menunjukkann bahwa 23.60 % variasi semangat kerja karyawan ditentukan oleh lingkungan kerja. Hasil perhitungan menyimpulkan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara lingkungan kerja dengan semangat kerja pada karyawan PT. This research was conducted at the PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia in Jakarta, for eight months starting from october 2012 until May 2013. The method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used in simple random sampling. The population in this employees of PT. Serasi Shipping Indonesia in Jakarta, and the inaccessibility population are the Departement Back Room Support Function, wich amounts to 58 employee. Sampling taken as many as 51 employee. To gather data from both variable questionnaire used Likert Scale models for the working environment (X variable) and work spirit employee (Y variable). Test requirements analysis, namely normality test error estimate of Y on X regression test produces L liliefors count = 0.099, while the L table for n = 51 in significant level 0.05 is 0.124. because the count L < L table the estimated error of Y on X have normal distribution. The resulting regression equation was Ŷ = 64.63 + 0.602X. From the significance test of regression to produce calculated F > F table, which is 15.14 > 4.04, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Testing linerity of regression produce calculated F < F table in which one, 1.23 < 1.94, this concluded that the linear equation regreasi. Product Moment correlation coefficient of Pearson produce rxy = 0.486, then mde a significance test of correlation coefficient by using t test and the resulting count = 3.86 and test table 1.68. thus we can conclude that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.486 is significant. The coefficient of determination is obtained equal to 0.2360 which showa that 23.60 % variation of the work spirit employee is determined by the working environment .
