Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data tentang hubungan pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Rias angkatan 2012. Penelitian dilakukan di gedung H (IKK) UNJ yang berlokasi di jalan Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta Timur. Subjek penelitiannya adalah mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Rias UNJ angkatan 2012 berjumlah 70 mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah PKL. Waktu penelitian dilakukan selama 3 bulan terhitung dari bulan September sampai dengan bulan November 2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei, dengan pendekatan korelational. Penelitian survei ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner atau angket untuk mengetahui hubungan variabel bebas (X) yaitu pengalaman praktik kerja Lapangan (PKL) dengan variabel terikat (Y) yaitu kesiapan kerja. Metode pengambilan data tiap variabel menggunakan angket dengan skala likert. Validitas instrumen penelitian dihitung menggunakan korelasi Product Moment, sedangkan reliabilitas instrumennya menggunakan rumus Alpha Chronbach. Teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi sederhana dengan taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian ini menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pengalaman PKL dengan kesiapan kerja Pendidikan Tata Rias Universitas Negeri Jakarta angkatan 2012. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan korelasi antara variabel pengalaman PKL (X) dengan kesiapan kerja siswa (Y) besarnya adalah 0,811 dan bernilai positif. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa (rhitung 0,811> rtabel 0,235) sehingga dapat dikatakan signifikan. Berdasarkan pada tabel interpretasi, harga rhitung sebesar 0,811 apabila diinterpretasikan berada pada interval 0,800 – 1,000 dan termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Jadi terdapat kekuatan hubungan yang sangat tinggi antara pengalaman PKL dengan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa. The aim of this study was to obtain data about the relationship of job training experience with job readiness of students of Health and Beauty Education Study 2012. The study was conducted in the building H (IKK) UNJ located at Rawamangun Muka Street, East Jakarta. His research interests are students of Health and Beauty Education Study 2012 consist of 70 students who have completed the course PKL. The research was carried out for 3 months from September to November, 2016. This study used survey methods, with approach korelational. This survey research is a quantitative research by distributing questionnaires or questionnaire to determine the relationship of the independent variable (X) is the practical experience of work (PKL) and dependent variable (Y) that is job readiness. The data collection method for each variable using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The validity of research instruments are calculated using Product Moment correlation, while the reliability of the instrument using Alpha formula Chronbach. Data analysis techniques to test the hypothesis using a simple correlation with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study lead to the conclusion that there is a positive relationship between the experience of street vendors with job readiness of students of Health and Beauty Education Study 2012, State University of Jakarta. This is indicated by the correlation between the variables experience PKL (X) with job readiness of students ( Y) magnitude is 0.811 and is positive. These results indicate that (rhitung 0.811> 0.235 rtabel) so it can be said to be significant. Based on the interpretation table, rhitung price of 0.811 when interpreted is in the interval from 0.800 to 1.000 and included in the very high category. So there is a very high strength of the relationship between experience PKL students with job readiness.
