Abstract
Homesick is homesickness or homeland. A feeling that arises while away from home or leaving home due to several factors. However, not everyone feels homesick. Homesick, which means longing, is not just longing for the ordinary, but also longing for something. Where some people experience the name homesick for overseas people who feel far from home, and this longing is not only aimed at home. but the environment and atmosphere, homesickness and it can even be interpreted as homesickness. Instead, the feeling comes from someone's instinctive needs for love, protection, security, feelings and qualities that are usually associated with home. Thus, those who start living in a new environment will certainly feel longing, homesickness, friends and others. Homesick not only has a negative impact, but also has a positive impact that can make someone more independent and can do anything in their activities. Painting is a branch of fine art that is created by the imagination of an artist, which is expressed through the media of lines, colors, textures, dark and light, as well as fields and shapes. Painting is presented in two-dimensional fields, such as canvas, boards, paper, and others. This work of painting is called painting
