Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa melalui teknik mind mapping (peta pikiran) pada pelajaran matematika di SD Negeri Pejagalan 01 Pagi Jakarta Utara. Penelitian ini di adakan di SD Negeri Pejagalan 01 Pagi, Jakarta Utara. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV pada semester I tahun ajaran 2010/2011 yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model spiral/siklus dari Kurt Lewin dengan empat tahap siklus yaitu tahap perencanaa, pelaksanaan/tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Teknik pengambilan data melalui pengamatan/observasi, serta pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi/foto yang di ambil pada saat proses belajar mengajar. Hasil analisis menunjukan prosentase nilai pengamatan tindakan guru siklus I sebesar (61,53%) dan pada siklus ke II meningkat menjadi (84,61%). Lalu tindakan siswa pada siklus I sebesar (54,16%) meningkat menjadi (79,16%) di siklus ke II. Pada nilai aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV adalah pada siklus I sebesar (50%) dan meningkat sebesar (83,33%) pada siklus ke II. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Pejagalan 01 Pagi Jakarta Utara dapat ditingkatkan melalui teknik mind mapping pada pembelajaran matematika. Implikasi hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa melalui teknik mind mapping merupakan salah satu teknik pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa di SD Negeri Pejagalan 01 Pagi Jakarta Utara. The purpose of this research is to increase students' active learning through mind mapping techniques in mathematics lessons in elementary school Pejagalan 01 Pagi North Jakarta This research is held at the SD State Pejagalan 01 Morning, North Jakarta. The subjects of this study is the fourth grade students in the first semester of the academic year 2010/2011 amounted to 30 people This research method is a classroom action research using the spiral model / cycle of Kurt Lewin cycle with four stages namely stage stats, implementation / action, observation and reflection. The collecting data through observation / observation and do waancara, as well as data collection using the documentation / photos taken during the process of teaching and learning The results show the percentage of the value of teachers' observations of the first cycle of action (60.41%) and in cycle II were increased to (85.41%). Then the action on the first cycle of students (58.97%) increased to (84.60%) in the second cycle. In active learning the value of fourth grade students is on the first cycle of (64.73%) and increased by (79.97%) in the second cycle From the results of this study concluded that active learning Elementary School fourth grade students Pejagalan 01 Morning North Jakarta can be improved through mind mapping techniques in learning mathematics. The implications of this research is that through the mind mapping technique is one of the learning techniques that can enhance active learning in elementary school students Pejagalan 01 Morning North Jakarta
