Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan jurusan di SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2016. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas X SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi tahun ajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 286 siswa. Diambil sebagai sampel dari populasi tersebut sebanyak 74 siswa. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan menggunakan survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode sampel secara acak dengan jenis sampel stratified random sampling. Untuk mendapatkan data, penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket. Untuk mendapatkan data dari penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara uji analisis faktor. Penelitian ini dibatasi dua faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan jurusan, yaitu faktor internal yang terdiri dari minat, motivasi dan bakat, serta faktor eksternal yang terdiri dari peran orang tua dan teman sebaya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa faktor internal memiliki KMO sebesar 0,618 dan faktor eksternal memiliki KMO sebesar 0,508. Hal ini menunjukkan istrumen dalam penelititan ini valid dan memiliki ketepatan dalam analisis faktor. Dari faktor internal, bakat memberikan pengaruh terbesar, yakni dengan nilai communalities sebesar 0,775. Sedangkan pada faktor eksternal yang memberikan pengaruh terbesar dengan nilai communalities sebesar 0,727 adalah pengaruh teman sebaya. Hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari mata pelajaran sistem komputer berada diatas nilai KKM. Faktor-faktor tersebut mempengaruhi dalam pemilihan jurusan di SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi. This research aims to knowing the factors that affect the selection of majors at SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi. This research was carried out in November 2016. The population in this research is a class X SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi school year 2016/2017 totalling 286 students. Taken as a sample of the population by as much as 74 students. In this study the method used is descriptive method using a quantitative approach with the survey. The technique of sampling is done using a random sample method with the type of sample is stratified random sampling. To get the data, this research uses the instrument in the form of the now. To get the data from this research was conducted by means of the analysis of the test factors. This research is limited to two factors that influence the selection of departments, namely the internal factors which consists of interest, motivation and talent, as well as external factors comprising the role of parents and peers. Based on the research results obtained that the internal factors have KMO of 0.618 and external factors have KMO of 0.508. This shows the istrumen in penelititan is valid and has the accuracy in the analysis of the factor. From internal factors, talents give greatest influence, namely the value of 0.775 communalities. While external factors that gives the greatest influence with the value of the communalities registration 0.727 is peer influence. Student learning outcomes obtained from the subjects of computer systems is above the value of KKM. Those factors affect in the selection of majors in SMK Telekomunikasi Telesandi Bekasi.
