Abstract

Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS kelas V SD melalui model pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Menteng 03 Pagi Jakarta Pusat yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam II siklus. Hasil evaluasi setelah dilakukan tindakan pada siklus I hasil belajar IPS yang diperoleh sebesar 65,63% sedangkan siklus II yaitu 81,25%. Adapun hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru menggunakan model pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort pada siklus I mencapai 63% dan 69%, sedangkan pada siklus II 81% dan 88%. Hasil pengamatan aktivitas siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort pada siklus I sebesar 56% dan 69%, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 81% dan 94%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran aktif tipe card sort dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPS. Oleh sebab itu, guru perlu mengetahui dan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang efektif dan dapat mengembangkan kemampuan belajar siswa. * The classroom action research was intended to improving learning achievement of social science through card sort tipe active learning models of grade 5 students. The subject of the research was 32 students at Menteng 03 Pagi Central Jakarta. This research was conducted in two cycles. This evaluation result proves, after the first cycle of action in new society study outcomes 65,63% while 81,25% of second cycle. The monitoring actions of teacher use card sort tipe active learning models in the first cycles reaches 63% and 69%, meanwhile 81% and 88% of the second cycle. The monitoring action of students use card sort tipe active learning models in the first cycle reaches 56% and 69% while 81% and 94% of the second cycle. From this research showed that card sort tipe active learning models can be improving of grade 5 students elementary school especially of social science. Thus teachers knowing and using effective until can be improving and develop student skills.
