Abstract

Generasi Z sebagai true digital natives atau generasi yang lahir dan tumbuh dengan internet tidak asing dengan produk digital saat ini. Salah satunya adalah e-wallet yang digunakan sebagai alat pembayaran secara daring. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk menguji faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi niat untuk menggunakan e-wallet pada Generasi Z (18 – 27 tahun) yang menggunakan e-wallet dan tinggal di Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi). Landasan teori pada penelitian ini adalah Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dimana variabel yang dilibatkan adalah behavioral intention to use, perceived ease of use, dan perceived usefulness. Dengan dua faktor lainnya yang dipilih, yaitu perceived security dan social influence. Survei dilakukan secara daring dengan responden yang terkumpul sebesar 245 responden. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis SEM atau Structural Equation Modelling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa social influence memengaruhi perceived ease of use secara positif dan signifikan, perceived ease of use memengaruhi perceived usefulness secara positif dan signifikan, serta perceived ease of use dan perceived usefulness memengaruhi behavioral intention to use secara positif dan signifikan. Di sisi lain, social influence tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap perceived usefulness dan perceived security tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap behavioral intention to use. ***** Generation Z called true digital natives or those who were born and grew up with internet are well known with digital product. E-wallet is one of digital product that used in electronic transactions. This study aims to examine the factors that influence behavioral intention to use e-wallet on generation Z that using e-wallet and live in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi). This study uses Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to find the acceptance factors on the e-wallet where the variables involved are behavioral intention to use, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness. Two additional factors were perceived security and social influence. Total of 245 respondents were collected by online survey. The data was processed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The result of this study revealed that social influence were the positive and significant to perceived ease of use and perceived ease of use has effect on perceived usefulness positively and significantly. Moreover, this study supported TAM that perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness have influence on behavioral intention to use, whereas social influence has no effect on perceived usefulness and perceives security has no effect on behavioral intention to use.
