Abstract
Asupan makanan yang cukup dan latihan rutin dibutuhkan oleh atlet untuk meningkatkan prestasi, faktor yang mempengaruhi diantaranya status gizi dan pengetahuan gizi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di KONI Kota Depok. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11-16 Juli 2022. Populasi pada penelitain ini adalah 505 Atlet Program Akselerasi Terpadu Kota Depok. Sampel dari populasi ini adalah 70 atlet. Yang dipilih berdasarkan metode Purposive Sampling. Data status gizi diperoleh dengan melakukan pengukuran antropometri. Pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan lalu dihitung dengan rumus IMT (Indeks Massa Tubuh). Data pengetahuan gizi diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner. Pengolahan data pengetahuan gizi atlet dilakukan secara manual menggunakan kalkulator dengan menggunakan distribusi frekuensi. Didapatkan hasil penelitian yaitu pada status gizi berdasarkan indeks massa tubuh 4% dengan status sangat kurus (kekurangan berat badan tingkat berat), 10% dengan status kurus (kekurangan berat badan tingkat ringan), 73% dengan status normal, 6% dengan status gemuk (kelebihan berat badan tingkat ringan), dan 7% dengan status obesitas (kelebihan berat badan tingkat berat). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat dilihat bahwasanya status gizi pada Atlet Program Akselerasi Terpadu Kota Depok sangat bervariasi. Sedangkan pengetahuan gizi pada Atlet Program Akselerasi Terpadu Kota Depok adalah 14% memiliki pemahaman baik, 80% memiliki pemahaman cukup, 6% memiliki pemahaman kurang, dan tidak ada satupun orang atlet yang memiliki pemahaman tidak baik. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa status gizi atlet berdasarkan indeks massa tubuh tergolong dalam kategori normal dan tingkat pengetahuan gizi atlet tergolong dalam kategori cukup. Kata Kunci: Status Gizi, Pengetahuan Gizi, Atlet ********* Adequate food intake and regular exercise are needed by athletes to improve performance, influencing factors include nutritional status and nutritional knowledge. This research is a quantitative research and the research method used is a descriptive method which was carried out at KONI Depok City. This research was conducted on July 11-16, 2022. The population in this study were 505 Athletes of the Depok City Integrated Acceleration Program. The sample of this population is 70 athletes. Which was selected based on the method of Purposive Sampling. Nutritional status data was obtained by performing anthropometric measurements. Measurements of weight and height were then calculated using the BMI (Body Mass Index) formula. Nutritional knowledge data was obtained through filling out a questionnaire. Data processing of athlete's nutrition knowledge is done manually using a calculator using a frequency distribution. The results of the study were on nutritional status based on body mass index 4% with very thin status (severe weight loss), 10% with thin status (mild weight loss), 73% with normal status, 6% with obese status (mild overweight), and 7% with obesity status (severe overweight). Based on these results, it can be seen that the nutritional status of the athletes of the Depok City Integrated Acceleration Program varies greatly. Meanwhile, the nutritional knowledge of the Depok City Integrated Acceleration Program Athletes is 14% who have a good understanding, 80% have sufficient understanding, 6% have a poor understanding, and none of the athletes have a bad understanding. Therefore, it can be concluded that the nutritional status of athletes based on body mass index is in the normal category and the level of nutritional knowledge of athletes is in the sufficient category.
