Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang pernikahan anak pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Penyindangan Kulon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu dengan metode kualitatif melalui teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan observasi, wawancara, studi pustaka, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu Lebe Desa dan masyarakat Desa Penyindangan Kulon. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa persepsi dari masyarakat terkait dengan pernikahan anak yaitu masyarakat beranggapan bahwa pernikahan anak merupakan suatu hal yang lumrah terjadi di desa tersebut. Adapun faktor yang menjadi pendorong terjadinya pernikahan anak ialah faktor internal yang meliputi; (1) keinginan pribadi, (2) keinginan keluarga, (3) ekonomi keluarga. Selain itu terdapat faktor eksternal dari pernikahan anak, yaitu lingkungan atau teman sebaya. ***** This study aims to obtain information on child marriage during the Covid19 pandemic in Penyindangan Kulon Village. The research method used is qualitative methods through data collection techniques, namely by observation, interviews, literature studies, and documentation. The subjects of this research are Lebe Desa and the people of Penyindangan Kulon Village. The results of the study concluded that the perception of the community related to child marriage is that the community assumes that child marriage is a common thing that occurs in the village. The factors that drive the occurrence of child marriage are internal factors which include; (1) personal desire, (2) family desire, (3) family economy. In addition, there are external factors from child marriage, namely the environment or peers.
