Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui eksistensi generasi milenial manggarai yaitu kelompok zwembath. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Eksistensi generasi milenial manggarai menunjukan bahwa para pelaku melakukan aksi tawuran karena ingin menjadi terkenal dan disegani oleh generasi milenial dari wilayah lain, hal tersebut dilakukan dengan membuat akun media sosial yang khusus mereka buat untuk mengunggah konten tawuran seperti foto saat membawa senjata tajam, merekam video saat melakukan tawuran dan juga melakukan live di akun Instagram saat melakukan aksi tawuran, mereka membuat akun Instagram agar nama kelompok mereka semakin dikenal dan juga mencari atensi dari generasi di wilayah lain supaya mendapatkan banyak likes dan followers, selain itu ada beberapa faktor kelompok milenial melakukan aksi tawuran yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, faktor internal yang pertama adalah faktor kepribadian, yang kedua faktor kontrol diri yang rendah, yang ketiga gengsi, selanjutnya ada faktor eksternal yaitu faktor lingkungan, pengaruh keluarga dan pengaruh media beberapa faktor tersebut membuat generasi milenial di Manggarai sering melakukan aksi tawuran. ***** This study aims to determine the existence of the Manggarai millennial generation, namely the zwembath group. This study uses a descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The existence of the Manggarai millennial generation shows that the perpetrators carry out brawls because they want to be famous and respected by millennials from other regions, this is done by creating social media accounts that they specifically created to upload brawl content such as photos when carrying sharp weapons, recording videos when do brawls and also do live on Instagram accounts when doing brawls, they create Instagram accounts so that their group names are increasingly known and also seek attention from generations in other regions to get lots of likes and followers, besides that there are several factors for millennial groups to brawl namely internal factors and external factors, the first internal factor is the personality factor, the second is a low self-control factor, the third is prestige, then there are external factors, namely environmental factors, family influences and media influences, some of these factors make the millennial generation in Manggarai often engage in brawls.
