Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat terhadap kepala daerah perempuan di Desa Parung Panjang Kecamatan Parung Panjang Kabupaten Bogor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat di Desa Parung Panjang Kecamatan Parung Panjang Kabupaten Bogor yang telah berusia >17 tahun pada tahun 2022, yaitu berjumlah 16.075. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 70 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner penelitian yang berjumlah 26 butir pernyataan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dalam bentuk deskriptif dan distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat Desa Parung Panjang Kecamatan Parung Panjang Kabupaten Bogor terhadap kepala daerah perempuan mayoritas adalah positif, yaitu sebesar 66%, sedangkan 34% memiliki persepsi negatif. Sementara itu, faktor dengan persepsi positif tertinggi adalah faktor kemampuan memimpin sebesar 76%, kemudian faktor program kerja sebesar 74%, dan faktor pengalaman sebesar 59%. Selain itu, terdapat juga faktor dengan persepsi negatif lebih besar dibandingkan persepsi positif, yaitu faktor agama dengan persepsi negatif sebesar 59%, faktor budaya sebesar 61%, dan faktor pengetahuan sebesar 67% yang menjadi faktor dengan persepsi negatif tertinggi. Secara keseluruhan dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa masyarakat Desa Parung Panjang Kecamatan Parung Panjang Kabupaten Bogor memiliki persepsi positif terhadap kepala daerah perempuan. Dalam hal ini, masyarakat menitikberatkan pada faktor kemampuan memimpin dan faktor program kerja yang dimiliki oleh kepala daerah perempuan. Selain itu, pengalaman masyarakat dalam memilih perempuan sebagai pemimpin dapat dikatakan positif bahkan cenderung meningkat. Meskipun demikian, faktor agama, faktor budaya, dan faktor pengetahuan yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat masih menjadi faktor yang berperan negatif terhadap masyarakat dalam mempersepsikan dan memilih perempuan sebagai kepala daerah. ***** The purpose of this study was to determine the public's perception of female regional heads in Parung Panjang Village, Parung Panjang District, Bogor Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with survey methods. The population in this study is people in Parung Panjang Village, Parung Panjang District, Bogor Regency, which is >17 years old in 2022, which is 16.075. The study sample was taken with purposive technique of 70 people. The data collection technique uses a research questionnaire totaling 26 points of statements. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical techniques in descriptive form and frequency distribution. The results showed that the perception of the people of Parung Panjang Village, Parung Panjang District, Bogor Regency, towards female regional heads was mostly positive, namely 66%, while 34% had negative perceptions. Meanwhile, the factor with the highest positive perception is the ability to lead factor by 76%, then the work program factor by 74%, and the experience factor by 59%. In addition, there are also factors with a negative perception greater than positive perception, namely the religious factor with a negative perception of 59%, a cultural factor of 61%, and a knowledge factor of 67% which is the factor with the highest negative perception. Overall, it can be concluded that the people of Parung Panjang Village, Parung Panjang District, Bogor Regency, have a positive perception of female regional heads. In this case, the community focuses on the ability to lead factor and the work program factor owned by the female regional head. In addition, people's experience in choosing women as leaders can be said to be positive and even tend to increase. However, religious factors, cultural factors, and knowledge factors possessed by the community are still factors that play a negative role in society in perceiving and choosing women as regional heads.
