Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui tokoh Nujood Ali dalam novel “Ana Nujood Ibnatul Asyirah wa Muthollaqoh” karya Nujood Ali dan Delphine Minoui; (2) mengetahui bentuk konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel “Ana Nujood Ibnatul Asyirah wa Muthollaqoh” karya Nujood Ali dan Delphine Minoui; (3) mengetahui faktor penyebab konflik batin tokoh utama dalam novel “Ana Nujood Ibnatul Asyirah wa Muthollaqoh” karya Nujood Ali dan Delphine Minoui berdasarkan teori kebutuhan bertingkat Abraham Maslow. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis konten. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan psikologi sastra. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik membaca dan teknik mencatat. Peneliti melakukan analisis data melalui tahap berikut: (1) membaca novel (2) mencatat data bentuk konflik batin dan penyebabnya (3) mengklasifikasikan dan menyeleksi data (4) menganalisis data (5) menyimpulkan data. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa tokoh Nujood Ali merupakan tokoh utama juga tokoh protagonis, tokoh kompleks dan tokoh berkembang. Jenis konflik batin yang dialami oleh tokoh utama ditemukan 29 temuan, yaitu cemas 3 temuan, takut 4 temuan, sedih 10 temuan, kecewa 4 temuan, malu 2 temuan, iri 1 temuan dan marah 4 temuan. Sementara faktor penyebabnya ditemukan 29 temuan, yaitu karena tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan fisiologis 2 temuan, tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan rasa aman 9 temuan, tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan cinta dan dimiliki 4 temuan, tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan penghargaan 10 temuan, serta tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan aktualisasi diri 4 temuan. Kata kunci: konflik batin, tokoh utama, psikologi sastra, novel ********** The research aims to (1) know Nujood Ali’s character in the novel "Ana Nujood Ibnatul Asyirah Wa Muthollaqoh" by Nujood Ali and Delphine Minoui; (2) know the form of the main character's inner conflict in the novel "Ana Nujood Ibnatul Asyirah Wa Muthollaqoh" by Nujood Ali and Delphine Minoui; (3) know the factors causing the inner conflict of the main character in the novel "Ana Nujood Ibnatul Asyirah Wa Muthollaqoh" by Nujood Ali and Delphine Minoui based on Abraham Maslow's multilevel needs theory. The method used in this study is a content analysis method. The approach used is a literary psychology approach. Data collection techniques used are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The researcher analyzed the data through the following stages: (1) reading the novel (2) writing the data on the form of inner conflict and its causes (3) classifying and selecting the data (4) analyzing the data (5) concluding the data. The results of data analysis show that Nujood Ali is the main character, and also the protagonist character, the complex character, and the develop character. The form of inner conflict experienced by the main character was found in 29 findings, namely anxiety 3 findings, fear 4 findings, sadness 10 findings, disappointment 4 findings, shame 2 findings, envy 1 findings, and angry 4 findings. Meanwhile, the causative factors found 29 findings, namely physiological needs are not fulfilled 2 findings, the safety needs is not fulfilled 9 findings, the love and belonging needs is not fulfilled 4 findings, the esteem needs is not fulfilled 10 findings, and the need for self-actualization is not fulfilled 4 findings.
