Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran komite sekolah SMP Al Azhar 12 Rawamangun dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di masa pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan karena peran komite sekolah sangat penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Al Azhar 12 Rawamangun. Penelitian ini ingin mencari jawaban bagaimana strategi mengoptimalkan pengembangan mutu pendidikan dan peran komite sekolah dalam mencapai misi pengembangan mutu pendidikan serta apa saja faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Untuk memperoleh data yang lengkap dan memperhatikan relevansi data penelitian, pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini adalah 1) Komite sekolah di SMP Al Azhar 12 Rawamangun disebut dengan jamiyyah yang diserap dari Bahasa Arab. 2) Peran Komite Sekolah dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMP Al Azhar 12 Rawamangun adalah sebagai: a) Badan Pertimbangan, b) Badan Pendukung, c) Badan Pengendali, d) Mediator, 3) Sistem sekolah yang baik dan latar belakang ekonomi pengurus komite sekolah menjadi faktor pendukung program komite sekolah, 4) Konflik internal pengurus dan kekompakan kedatangan ke sekolah menjadi faktor penghambat program jamiyyah. ***** This study aims to find out the role of the school committee of Al Azhar 12 Junior High School Rawamangun in improving the quality of education during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is important because the role of school committees is very important in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. This research was conducted at Al Azhar 12 Junior High School Rawamangun. This research wants to find answers on how to optimize the strategy for developing the quality of education and the role of school committees in achieving the mission of developing the quality of education as well as what factors support and hinder school committees in improving education. This research is qualitative. To obtain complete data and pay attention to the relevance of research data, data collection in this study used interview, observation, and documentation studies. The collected data were analyzed using miles dan Huberman analysis techniques. The results of this study are 1) The school committee at Al Azhar 12 Junior High School Rawamangun is called jamiyyah which is absorbed from Arabic. 2) The role of the School Committee in improving the quality of education at Al Azhar 12 Junior High School Rawamangun is as: a) Advisory Agency, b) Supporting Agency, c) Controlling Agency, d) Mediatory Agency, 3) Good school management system and economic background of school committee become a supporting factor for the school committee program, 4) Internal conflicts of jamiyyah and the cohesiveness of coming to school are setback factors for the jamiyyah program.
