Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemikiran Louis Althusser tentang ideologi dan negara melalui perspektif sosiologis, dan bagaimana relevansinya terhadap konteks Indonesia kontemporer, atau dalam periode pasca-Orde Baru (Era Reformasi). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan dan teknik analisis wacana. Terdapat empat 4 konsep yang menjadi kerangka konseptual dari penelitian ini, yaitu: konsep sosiologi pengetahuan, ideologi, formasi sosial, dan negara dalam perspektif Marxis. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa pembangunan Negara Indonesia pasca-Orde Baru masih dibentuk berdasarkan konstruksi sosial kelas dominan, di mana efektivitas sistem perekonomian negara sangat dipengaruhi oleh perkembangan teknologi informasi dan aparatus ideologis negara (ISA) yang telah ada maupun yang baru seperti ISA media sosial. Terjadinya fenomena kapitalisme tahap akhir dan neoliberalisme lewat kebijakan-kebijakan penyeusian struktural yang dikeluarkan pemerintah memungkinkan aparatus ideologis negara menjalankan praktik-praktik sosial yang melegitimasi penanaman karakteristik subjek abad ke-21 dalam diri tenaga kerja atau agen produksi. Beberapa di antaranya adalah karakteristik rasional-teknologisdan pragmatis. Proses ini menjadi salah satu wujud determinasi ideologis yang mereproduksi kondisi produksi dan terjadinya transisi perekonomian Negara Indonesia. This research aims to study Louis Althusser's thoughts on ideology and the state from a sociological perspective, and its relevance to the contemporary context of Indonesia, particularly in the post-New Order era (the Reform era). This study uses qualitative approaches, i.e. literature review and discourse analysis. Four conceptual frameworks are employed in the study: sociology of knowledge, ideology, social formation, and Marxist theory of the state. The study finds that the development of Indonesia in the post-New Order era is shaped by the social construction by the dominant group as showcased in the case where the effectiveness of the economic system is greatly influenced by the advancement of information technologies, and existing and new state ideological apparatuses, such as social media. The phenomenon of late capitalism and neoliberalism through structural adjustments policies enacted by the government allows for the state ideological apparatuses to conduct social practices which legitimize the formation of the characteristics of the 21-century subjectivity in the workforce and production agents. Some of these characteristics are rational-technological and pragmatic. This process is one of the embodiments of how ideological determinants reproduce the production condition and the transition of Indonesia's economy.
