Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) hubungan koordinasi mata tangan (X1) terhadap akurasi Forehand Drive (Y), (2) hubungan kekuatan otot lengan (X2) terhadap akurasi Forehand Drive (Y), (3) hubungan koordinasi mata tangan (X1), kekuatan otot lengan (X2) terhadap akurasi Forehand Drive (Y). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini adalah anggota Jakarta Pickleball Association (JPA). Teknik pengumpulan sampel penelitan ini adalah purposive sampling. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 20 orang atlet Pickleball Jakarta yang pernah mengikuti Kejurnas. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah (1) kekuatan otot lengan dengan menggunakan Push-up, (2) koordinasi mata tangan dengan menggunakan instrument Wall bounce test, (3) akurasi Forehand Drive menggunakan modifikasi dari Hewitt’s tennis achievement test. Hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata tangan (X1) dengan akurasi pukulan Forehand Drive (Y), kedua terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kekuatan otot lengan (X2) dengan akurasi pukulan Forehand Drive (Y), ketiga terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata tangan (X1), kekuatan otot lengan (X2), secara bersamaan terhadap akurasi pukulan Forehand Drive (Y). Teknik pengujian hipotesis yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis statistika kolerasi sederhana yang dilanjutkan dengan uji-t pada taraf signifikan. terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Kekuatan Otot Lengan dan Koordinasi Mata Tangan dengan Akurasi Forehand Drive , dengan persamaan garis linier Ŷ = 0,464 + -0,464X₁ + 0,289 X₂, koefesien korelasi ry₁-₂ = 0,632 dan koefesien determinasi (Ry₁.₂)² = 0,399 yang berarti variabel Kekuatan Otot Lengan dan Koordinasi Mata Tangan memberikan sumbangan terhadap Akurasi Forehand Drive sebesar 39,9%. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the relationship of hand eye coordination (X1) to the accuracy of Forehand Drive (Y), (2) the relationship of arm muscle strength (X2) to the accuracy of Forehand Drive (Y), (3) the relationship of hand eye coordination (X1), arm muscle strength (X2) to accuracy of Forehand Drive (Y). This research is a correlational quantitative research. The population of this study are members of the Jakarta Pickleball Association (JPA). The number of samples in this study were 20 Jakarta Pickleball athletes who had participated in National Championships. The research instruments used were (1) arm muscle strength using push-ups, (2) hand eye coordination using the Wall bounce test instrument, (3) Forehand Drive hitting accuracy using a modification of Hewitt's tennis achievement test. The results of testing the first hypothesis there is a significant relationship between hand eye coordination (X1) and accuracy of Forehand Drive (Y), secondly there is a significant relationship between arm muscle strength (X2) and accuracy of Forehand Drive (Y), thirdly there is a significant relationship between hand eye coordination (X1), arm muscle strength (X2), simultaneously to Forehand Drive accuracy (Y). The hypothesis testing technique carried out in this study used a simple correlation statistical analysis technique followed by a t-test at a significant level. there is a significant relationship between Arm Muscle Strength and Hand Eye Coordination with Forehand Drive Accuracy, with the linear equation Ŷ = 0.464 + -0.464X₁ + 0.289 X₂, correlation coefficient ry₁-₂ = 0.632 and coefficient of determination (Ry₁.₂)² = 0.399, which means that the arm muscle strength and hand eye coordination variables contribute to the accuracy of the forehand drive by 39.9%.
