Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi masa tunggu kerja Alumni Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi Tahun 2018-2022 Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk mendapatkan gambaran secara besar tentang pengaruh dari independen yakni terdiri dari faktor-faktor terhadap hal yang mempengaruhi masa tunggu kerja. Penelitian dengan menggunakan cara kuantitatif ini dilakukan dengan mengambil dan mengumpulkan data data melalui google form. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 188 lulusan, dan diambil sebanyak 50 sample. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini.memanfaatkan kuesioner untuk memperoleh data pengaruh dari variabel Masa Studi, Umur, Masa Studi, Prestasi Belajar, Upah dan Pengalaman Kerja terhadap masa tunggu. Kuesioner bersifat terbuka, artinya responden mengisi jawaban berdasarkan pengalaman yang dilaluinya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan indeks prestasi kumulatif yang tinggi sebagai penyaringan kepada angkatan kerja di tahap awal, pihak pemberi kerja akan mempekerjakan seseorang didasarkan pada asumsi produktifitas yang dipunyai, serta membandingkan dengan kualifikasi tingkat pendidikan tiap tiap kandidat. waktu pendidikan yang lebih cepat memiliki probabilitaslebih tinggi untuk mendapat pekerjaan, tiap bertambah satu tahun belajar, menambahkan kesiapan kerja, penerimaan kerja yang cenderung tertahan karena lebih banyak yang memilih untuk memiliki pendidikan yang lebih tinggi dengan harapan memperoleh pemasukan yang lebih tinggi. This study aims to determine the factors that influence the waiting period for Alumni of the 2018-2022 Geography Education Study Program, Jakarta State University. The research method in this study uses quantitative methods to get a broad picture of the influence of the independent, which consists of factors that affect the waiting period for work. Research using this quantitative method was carried out by taking and collecting data through the Google form. The population in this study were 188 graduates, and 50 samples were taken. The analysis technique in this study used a questionnaire to obtain data on the influence of the variables Study Period, Age, Study Period, Learning Achievement, Wages and Work Experience on waiting period. The questionnaire is open, meaning that the respondent fills in the answers based on the experience they have passed. The results of the study show a high cumulative GPA as screening for the work force in the early stages, the employer will hire someone based on the productivity assumption they have, and compares with the educational level qualifications of each candidate. education time that is faster has a higher probability of getting a job, each year of study increases, adding to job readiness, job acceptance tends to be restrained because more people choose to have higher education in the hope of obtaining higher income.
