Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Assemblr EDU terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik tingkat SMA pada kelas X. Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimen yang dilakukan di SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta dengan waktu penelitian dimulai dari bulan Februari-Mei 2023, dengan peserta didik pada kelas X-1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan eksperimen semu. Materi yang dipelajari adalah bab litosfer dengan sub bab tenaga endogen, kelas eksperimen menggunakan media Assemblr EDU dan kelas kontrol menggunakan media pembelajaran video. Data yang diperoleh berasal pada nilai pre-test yang diberikan sebelum pemberlakuan dan post-test setelah pemberlakuan. Kegiatan pembelajaran ditempuh selama 3 pertemuan. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menganalisis pada penelitian ini adalah independent sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukan nilai rata-rata kemampuan kognitif kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen naik sebesar 88%. Sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol mengalami kenaikan sebesar 57%. Dengan nilai sig. 0,012 < 0,05 yang berarti H0 di tolak dan Ha diterima maka terdapat pengaruh media Assemblr EDU terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik kelas X pada materi Litosfer di SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta. Aspek kognitif yang paling dominan pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol adalah C2 namun kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai yang tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol, karena pada media pembelajaran kelas eksperimen menggunakan tampilan 3D di bandingkan kelas kontrol hanya berupa tulisan. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan media Assemblr EDU dapat meningkatkan pemahaman yang abstrak yang sulit menjadi lebih mudah dengan berbantuan media 3D pada Assemblr EDU. This study aims to determine the effect of Assemblr EDU media on the cognitive abilities of high school students in class X. This research is an experimental study conducted at SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta with the research time starting from February-May 2023, with students in class X-1 as the experimental class and class X-2 as the control class. This research uses quantitative methods with a pseudo-experimental approach. The material studied was the lithosphere chapter with the endogenous energy subchapter, the experimental class used Assemblr EDU media and the control class used video learning media. The data obtained came from the pre-test scores given before the enactment and post-test after the enactment. Learning activities were taken for 3 meetings. The technique used to analyze this research is independent sample T-test. The results showed that the average value of cognitive abilities of the experimental class experienced a higher increase compared to the control class. The experimental class increased by 88%. Meanwhile, the control class experienced an increase of 57%. With a sig value. 0.012 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is an effect of Assemblr EDU media on the cognitive abilities of class X students on Lithosphere material at SMA Negeri 30 Jakarta. The most dominant cognitive aspect in the experimental and control classes is C2 but the experimental class has a high value compared to the control class, because the experimental class learning media uses a 3D display compared to the control class only in the form of writing. This shows that the use of Assemblr EDU media can improve abstract understanding which is difficult to become easier with the help of 3D media on Assemblr EDU.
