Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of digital class learning strategies and independent learning on science learning outcomes. Learning strategy (A), namely the group that was taught with digital class problem solving learning strategies (A1) as the experimental class and digital class inquiry learning strategies (A2) as the control class. Learning independence is divided into high learning independence groups (B1) and low learning independence groups (B2). This study used a quasi-experimental method with an Anova treatment design by level 2x2. The results showed that: (1) there was no difference in the learning outcomes of students who were taught using digital class problem solving digital learning strategies compared to digital class inquiry learning strategies; (2) there is an interaction effect between digital class learning strategies and independent learning on science learning outcomes; (3) the science learning outcomes of students who have high learning independence who are taught using digital class problem solving strategies are higher than those taught using digital class inquiry learning strategies, (4) the learning outcomes of science who have low learning independence are taught using learning strategies digital class problem solving is lower than that taught using digital class inquiry learning strategies.
