Abstract

Pada tanggal 24 Mei 2022 DPR menjadi perbincangan karena Puan Maharani mematikan mikrofon pada saat ada anggota yang melakukan interupsi. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh terpaan media instagram dari akun @kajianbinjai yang diterbitkan pada tanggal 26 Mei 2022 mengenai puan yang mematikan mikrofon terhadap sikap follower @kajianbinjai. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat dua variabel penelitian, yaitu terpaan media sebagai variabel independen dan sikap variabel dependen. Adapun teori yang digunakan adalah teori efek media yang diambil dari Valkenburg dkk dalam Bryant dan Oliver. Penelitian ini menerapkan paradigma positivis dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Peneliti menggunakan pengguna media sosial Instagram yang mengikuti akun @kajianbinjai dan memberikan likes sebagai populasi yang akan diteliti dengan total sebanyak 65 akun pengguna media sosial Instagram dan peneliti menggunakan pengguna media sosial Instagram yang mengikuti akun @kajianbinjai dan memberikan likes sebagai sampel yang akan diteliti sebanyak 56 akun pengguna media sosial Instagram setelah dihitung menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data yang peneliti pakai adalah data primer dengan cara mengirimkan survei daring ke tiap pesan pribadi Instagram responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan bivariat dengan regresi linier dan koefisien determinasi. Hasil olah data regresi linier sederhana diperoleh bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara terpaan media instagram dari akun @kajianbinjai yang diterbitkan pada tanggal 26 Mei 2022 mengenai puan yang mematikan mikrofon terhadap sikap follower @kajianbinjai. Dengan hasil olah data regresi linier sederhana, dapat peneliti simpulkan bahwa hipotesis nol atau Ho dalam penelitian ini ditolak sedangkan hipotesis alternatif atau Ha dalam penelitian ini diterima. Hasil olah data menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (sig.) memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan antara terpaan media instagram dari akun @kajianbinjai yang diterbitkan pada tanggal 26 Mei 2022 mengenai puan yang mematikan mikrofon terhadap sikap follower @kajianbinjai. Dengan hasil olah data tersebut, dapat peneliti simpulkan bahwa hipotesis nol atau Ho dalam penelitian ini ditolak sedangkan hipotesis alternatif atau Ha dalam penelitian ini diterima. Selanjutnya hasil olah data menunjukkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R-Square) bahwa sikap follower @kajianbinjai dipengaruhi oleh terpaan media sosial Instagram dari akun @kajianbinjai yang diterbitkan pada tanggal 26 Mei 2022 mengenai puan yang mematikan mikrofon kategori sedang. Kesimpulan penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa kontribusi variabel terpaan media (X) terhadap sikap (Y) adalah sedang. Saran penelitian ini adalah penggunaan populasi dan sampel yang sebaiknya menggunakan responden yang dapat ditemui secara fisik. On May 24, 2022 the DPR became a topic of discussion because Puan Maharani turned off the microphone when a member interrupted her. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Instagram media exposure from the @kajianbinjai account which was published on May 26 2022 regarding Puan who turned off the microphone on the attitude of @kajianbinjai followers. In this research, there are two research variables, namely media exposure as the independent variable and attitude as the dependent variable. The theory used is the theory of media effects taken from Valkenburg et al in Bryant and Oliver. This research use a positivist paradigm with a quantitative approach. The population of this research is Instagram social media users who followed the @kajianbinjai account and gave likes with a total of 65 Instagram social media user accounts and 56 Instagram social media user accounts as sample using the Slovin formula. The data that the researcher uses is primary data by sending an online survey to each respondent's personal Instagram message. This study uses bivariate with linear regression and coefficient of determination. Based on the results of simple linear regression data processing, indicates that there is a significant influence between Instagram media exposure from the @kajianbinjai account which was published on May 26 2022 regarding the lady who turned off the microphone on the attitude of @kajianbinjai followers. With the results of simple linear regression data processing, the researcher can conclude that the null hypothesis or Ho in this study is rejected while the alternative hypothesis or Ha in this study is accepted. Based on the sports results data in the table, indicates that there is a significant influence between Instagram media exposure from the @kajianbinjai account which was published on May 26 2022 regarding the lady who turned off the microphone on the attitude of @kajianbinjai followers. With the results of the data processing, the researcher can conclude that the null hypothesis or Ho in this study is rejected while the alternative hypothesis or Ha in this study is accepted. Furthermore, the results of data processing show the value of the coefficient of detersikapion (R-Square) shows that the attitude of followers of @kajianbinjai was influenced by Instagram social media exposure from the @kajianbinjai account which was published on May 26 2022 regarding ladies muting the microphone as much as the moderate category. The conclusion of this study indicates that the contribution of the media exposure variable (X) to attitude (Y) is moderate. The suggestion for this research is to use a population and sample that preferably uses respondents who can be found physically.
