Abstract

HUBUNGAN KEKUATAN OTOT LENGAN DAN KOORDINASI MATA TANGAN TERHADAP HASIL SHOOTING BOLA BASKET PADA ATLET PUTRA UNIVERSITAS NEGERI JAKARTA ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengetahui: 1. Ada hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan terhadap hasil shooting, 2. Ada hubungan antara koordinasi mata tangan terhadap hasil shooting, 3. Ada hubungan antara kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata tangan secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil shooting. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hubungan sebab akibat. Pengambilan data dilakukan di FIK UNJ. Populasi penelitian adalah pemain basket putra UNJ. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 14 pemain basket putra UNJ dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah: 1) Untuk mengukur kekuatan otot lengan adalah tes push-pull dynamometer, 2) Untuk mengukur koordinasi mata tangan menggunakan tes tes lempar tangkap bola tenis dan 3) Untuk mengukur hasil shooting adalah tes shooting.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1). Terdapat hubungan kekuatan otot lengan terhadap hasil shooting. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil thitung = 2,8 > ttabel = 2.16 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05. Persamaan regresinya adalah: Ŷ = 10,035 + 0,343X₁. Kontribusi kekuatan otot lengan (X1) sebesar 39% terhadap hasil shooting, dan sisanya 61% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. 2) Terdapat hubungan koordinasi mata tangan terhadap hasil shooting. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil thitung = 2,34 > ttabel = 2,16 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05. Persamaan regresinya adalah: Ŷ = 10,034 + 0,343X₂.. Kontribusi koordinasi mata tangan (X2) sebesar 31% terhadap hasil shooting, dan sisanya 69% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. 3) Terdapat hubungan kekuatan otot lengan dan koordinasi mata tangan secara bersama-sama hasil shooting. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil Fhitung = 6,15 > Ftabel = 3.89 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.05. Dengan persamaan regresinya adalah: Ŷ = 6,720 + 0,198X₁ + 0,208X₂. Kontribusi kekuatan otot lengan (X1) dan koordinasi mata tangan (X2) secara bersama-sama sebesar 49% terhadap hasil shooting, dan sisanya 51% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainnya. Kata Kunci: kekuatan otot lengan, koordinasi mata tangan, hasil Shooting THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ARM MUSCLE STRENGTH AND HAND EYE COORDINATION TO THE RESULTS OF BASKETBALL SHOOTING IN PUTRA ATHLETETS OF JAKARTA STATE UNIVERSITY ABSTRACT This study aims to find out: 1. There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and shooting results, 2. There is a relationship between hand-eye coordination and shooting results, 3. There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination together with shooting results. . The research method used in this research is a causal relationship research. Data collection was carried out at FIK UNJ. The population of this research is the men's basketball players at UNJ. The samples taken were 14 UNJ men's basketball players using the total sampling technique. The research instruments used in the study were: 1) To measure arm muscle strength was a push-pull dynamometer test, 2) To measure hand-eye coordination using a tennis ball throw-catch test and 3) To measure shooting results was a shooting test. The results showed that: 1). There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and shooting results. This can be seen from the results of tcount = 2.8 > ttable = 2.16 with a significance level of 0.05. The regression equation is: Ŷ = 10.035 + 0.343X₁. The contribution of arm muscle strength (X1) is 39% of the shooting results, and the remaining 61% is influenced by other factors. 2) There is a relationship between hand eye coordination and shooting results. The contribution of hand eye coordination (X2) is 31% of the shooting results, and the remaining 69% is influenced by other factors. 3) There is a relationship between arm muscle strength and hand-eye coordination together with shooting results. This can be seen from the results of Fcount = 6.15 > Ftable = 3.89 with a significance level of 0.05. With the regression equation is: Ŷ = 6.720 + 0.198X₁ + 0.208X₂. The contribution of arm muscle strength (X1) and hand eye coordination (X2) together is 49% of the shooting results, and the remaining 51% is influenced by other factors.
