Abstract

Jeremy Axell Sirait. Sejarah terbentuknya Perbasi dan hasil kompetisi basket yang pernah dilalui dari 1951 sampai 2002. Skripsi. Prodi Pendidikan Sejarah. Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui perjalanan cabang olahraga basket di Indonesia, dari awal masuk ke Indoensia terbentuknya Perbasi sampai perjalanan di berbagai kompetisi yang di ikuti. Metode yang akan digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Historis secara deskriptif naratif dengan beberapa tahapan yaitu Heuristik, Verifikasi, Interpretasi, dan Historiografi. Hasil penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan dari beberapa buku dan arsip-arsip ini membutikan bahwa Basket telah masuk ke Indonesia dari tahun 1920 oleh para imigran yang berasal dari Tiongkok dan terus berkembang dan mengikuti berbagai kompetisi dengan hasil yang berbeda-beda di setiap tahunnya. This research aims to find out about the journey of the sport of basketball in Indonesia, from the initial entry into Indonesia to the journey in the various competitions that were participated in. The method that will be used in this study is a historical descriptive narrative method with several stages, namely heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The research results that have been collected from several books and archives prove that basketball was entered in Indonesia from 1920 by immigrants from China and continues to develop and participate in various competitions with different results each year.
