Abstract

Penelitian ini tujuan untuk mendapatkan data empirik tentang bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan metode snowball throwing terhadap hasil belajar PAI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian Quasi Eksperimental. Sample yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI di SMAN 50 Jakarta yang berjumlah 25 siswa dari masing-masing kelas control dan eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tahap pra (sebelum) eksperimen, tahap treatment (perlakuan), tahap pasca (setelah) eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah uji paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan dengan penggunaan metode snowball throwing, dimana pada tahap akhir yaitu post-test dengan signifikansinya 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Selanjutnya terlihat yang menggunakan metode ceramah yaitu 0,03 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Selanjutnya terlihat dari nilai rata-rata setelah tes pada metode snowball throwing adalah 81,51 dan metode ceramah adalah 76,59. Dari hasil tersebut dapat menunjukkan peningkatan terhadap hasil belajar pada siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. This study aims to obtain empirical data on how the effect of using the snowball throwing method on PAI learning outcomes. The method used in this research is quantitative method with the type of Quasi-Experimental research. The sample used in this study was the XI grade students at SMAN 50 Jakarta which amounted to 25 students from each control and experimental class. Data collection techniques used in this study used the pre (before) experiment stage, treatment stage, post (after) experiment stage. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is paired sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant effect with the use of the snowball throwing method, where in the final stage, namely the post-test with a significance of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05. Furthermore, it can be seen that using the lecture method is 0.03 smaller than 0.05. Furthermore, it can be seen from the average value after the test on the snowball throwing method is 81.51 and the lecture method is 76.59. From these results can show an increase in learning outcomes in students in PAI subjects.
