Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesiapan kerja mahasiswa magang pada program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilakukan mulai bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 40 responden mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang telah mengikuti magang. Instrumen penelitian diuji coba kepada 10 mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta yang telah mengikuti magang di luar sampel. Uji coba instrumen dilakukan dengan uji validitas menggunakan rumus korelasi pearson dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan rumus alpha cronbach. Penyusunan instrumen penelitian didasarkan pada teori kesiapan kerja yang terdiri dimensi hard skills, soft skills intrapersonal, dan soft skills interpersonal dengan pengembangan melalui studi literatur terdahulu. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas instrumen, diperoleh 40 butir pernyataan valid dan 3 butir pernyataan tidak valid dengan nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,978 yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat tinggi. Setelah uji coba instrumen, maka didapatkan 40 jumlah butir pernyataan yang dimuat dalam angket penelitian. Hasil analisis statistik didapatkan bahwa kesiapan kerja mahasiswa magang pada program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta termasuk ke dalam kategori sangat siap dan siap dengan beberapa kemampuan yang perlu dipertahankan dan diperhatikan untuk memasuki dunia kerja. This research was conducted from June to August 2023. The research method used is the descriptive quantitative research method. The sample used was 40 respondents in the form of intern students in the Educational of Civil Engineering study program at the State University of Jakarta. The research instrument was tested on 10 intern students in the Educational of Civil Engineering study program at the State University of Jakarta who had participated in internships outside the sample. The instrument test was carried out with a validity test using the Pearson correlation formula and a reliability test using the Cronbach alpha formula. The preparation of the research instrument is based on the theory of work readiness consisting of hard skills, intrapersonal soft skills, and interpersonal soft skills developed through previous literature studies. Based on the results of the validation test and instrument reliability test, 40 valid statement items and 3 invalid statement items were obtained with a reliability value of 0.978 so that it was included in the very high category. After the instrument trial, the number of statement items contained in the research questionnaire was obtained. The results of statistical analysis found that the work readiness of interns in the Educational of Civil Engineering study program at the State University of Jakarta is included in the category of very ready and ready with several abilities that need to be maintained and considered to enter the world of work.
