Abstract
***This study aims to analyze the effect of debt covenant and tax minimization on transfer pricing decisions and the effect of moderation tax minimization on debt covenant and transfer pricing decisions. This study also uses company size as a control variable. The population of this study is the primary consumer sector companies (non-consumer cyclical) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2020-2022 period. The sample selection technique is done by technique purposive sampling, with the number of final observations after the outlier test being 75. The data analysis technique in this study uses Moderation Regression Analysis, which is processed using SPSS 29. The results of this study indicate that debt covenant positively affects transfer pricing decisions, whereas tax minimization does not affect transfer pricing decisions. In addition, firm size as a control variable does not affect transfer pricing decisions. The research results also show that tax minimization cannot moderately influence debt covenant to the transfer pricing decision. The results of this study indicate the need for increased supervision from investors, creditors, and regulators of the management of companies that decide transfer pricing, especially for companies with debt covenant which is getting higher. The company’s transactions with related parties will create price or fee irregularities.
