Abstract

Softskill dan Hardskill merupakan aspek penting dalam pengembangan profesional dan akademik mahasiswa. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kemampuan softskill dan hardskill pada mahasiswa S1 Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan di Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian unu menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif yang digunakan dengan melibatkan sampel mahasiswa dari berbagai tingkat. Instrumen berupa kuisioner yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kemampuan softskill dan hardskill, analisis statistik seperti korelasi pearson akan digunakan untuk menilai hubungan antara kedua jenis keterampilan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa "kemampuan softskill(X) berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan hardskill(Y) sebesar 20.6%". Pengaruh positif ini bermakna bahwa kemampuan softskill seseorang searah dengan kemampuan hardskill. Derajat hububgan antara softskill dan hardskill sebesar 0.454 maka hubungan kemampuan softskill dengan kemampuan hardskill mahasiswa S1 pendidikan teknik bangunan berkorelasi sedang. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang sejauh mana hubungan antara kemampuan softskill dan hardskill pada mahasiswa pendidikan teknik bangunan serta implikasi pada pengembangan mahasiswa. Kata kunci : softskill, hardskill, mahasiswa, pendidikan teknik bangunan, hubungan, korelasi. ***** Soft skills and hard skills are important aspect in the professional and academic development of students. The study aims to determine the relationship between softskills and hardskills in ungraduate students of building engineering education at jakarta state university. This study uses a quantitave research method that is used by involving a sample of students from various levels. The instrument in the form of a questionnaire used to collect data on softskills and hardskills,statistical analysis such a pearson correlation will be used to assess the relationship between the two types of skills. The result of this study indicate that"softskills(X) have a positive effect on hardskills(Y) by 20.6%".this positive influence means that if the ability of softskills increases.the ability of hardskills will also increase. The degree of relationship between softskills and hardskills is 0.454 . So the relationship between softskills and hardskills of S1 building engineering education students is moderately correlacted. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the between softskills and hardskills in building engineering education students and the implications for student development.
