Abstract

ABSTRAK Ainun Syafira. 2023. Makna Dalam Teks Surat Wasiat Bunuh Diri Pada Berita Online Kompas.com dan Detik.com. Skripsi. Program Studi Sastra Indonesia, Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang makna yang terkandung dalam surat wasiat bunuh diri pada berita online kompas.com dan detik.com. Surat wasiat bunuh diri sebagai salah satu dokumen penting dalam mengusut motif mengapa seseorang melakukan tindakan bunuh diri. Maka diperlukan kajian kebahasaan dalam mengungkap makna yang terkandung dalam teks surat wasiat bunuh diri. Makna dalam penelitian ini dibagi menjadi dua kategori yaitu: makna leksikal, dan makna gramatikal. Selanjutnya kedua kategori tersebut dianalisis berdasarkan unsur pembentuk berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini merupakan model analisis yang dikemukakan oleh Miles dan Huberman yaitu analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun hasil penelitian ini dari 12 data surat wasiat bunuh diri, ditemukan 87 kata dan 59 frasa data yang mengandung makna leksikal. Lalu terdapat 46 kata, 40 frasa, dan 32 kalimat yang mengandung makna gramatikal. Kata Kunci: Surat Wasiat, Bunuh Diri, Berita online, Kajian semantik. Makna. ***** ABSTRACT Ainun Syafira. 2023. This study describes the meaning contained in suicide wills on online news kompas.com and detik.com. Suicide will is one of the important documents in investigating the motive why someone commits suicide. Therefore, a linguistic study is needed to reveal the meaning contained in the text of the suicide will. The meaning in this study is divided into two categories, namely: lexical meaning, and grammatical meaning. Furthermore, the two categories are analyzed based on the forming elements in the form of words, phrases, and sentences. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with document study data collection technique. The data analysis technique in this research is an analysis model proposed by Miles and Huberman, namely interactive analysis which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results of this study from 12 data of suicide wills, found 87 words and 59 phrases of data containing lexical meaning. Then there are 46 words, 40 phrases, and 32 sentences that contain grammatical meaning. Keywords: Will, Suicide, Online news, Semantic study. Meaning.
