Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan ada tidaknya pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Inquiry Social Complexity (ISC) Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Peserta Didik Pada Materi Hidrolisis Garam. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MAN 17 Jakarta pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment design dengan bentuk non-equivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan XI IPA2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Pada kelas eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Inquiry Social Complexity ISC sedangkan kelas kontrol diberikan perlakuan dengan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Hasil uji t yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,003 < 0,05 dan diketahui nilai t hitung 3,090 > t tabel 1,998, yang menyatakan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang berarti ada pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran ISC terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Inquiry Social Complexity (ISC) dapat mengalami proses pembelajaran yang aktif berkomunikasi dan bertukar pikiran antara peserta didik sehingga berdampak pada kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. ***** This study aims to describe whether there is influence or not the application of learning models Inquiry Social Complexity (ISC) Against Students' Critical Thinking Ability in Salt Hydrolysis Material. The research was conducted at MAN 17 Jakarta in the even semester of the 2022/2023 school year. The research method used is quasi experiment design with shapes non-equivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of students of class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and XI IPA2 as the control class. The experimental class was given treatment with a learning modelInquiry Social Complexity ISC while the control class was given treatment with a learning modelDiscovery Learning. The results of the t test are indicated by valueSay. (2-tailed) 0.003 < 0.05 and it is known that the t count value is 3.090 > t table 1.998, which states that H1 accepted and H0 rejected, which means there is an effect of applying the ISC learning model to critical thinking skills. This shows that the learning model Inquiry Social Complexity (ISC) can experience a learning process that actively communicates and exchanges ideas between students so that it has an impact on critical thinking skills in solving problems in everyday life.
