Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara panggilan karier (career calling) dengan efikasi diri konselor (counselor self-efficacy) pada mahasiswa semester akhir program studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Negeri Jakarta dengan sampel mahasiswa aktif Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling angkatan 2019 dan 2018 yang sudah mengikuri PKM sebanyak 100 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik convinience sampling. Metode korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan tujuan menentukan hubungan antara variabel. Calling and Vocation Questionnaire (CVQ) dan Counselor Activity Self-Efficcay (CASES) yang telah dilakukan uji validitas dan reabilitas digunakan sebagai alat ukur pada penelitian ini. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini secara umum diketahui bahwa calling pada mahasiswa akhir BK UNJ skor rata-rata 76,17 dan efikasi diri konselor memiliki skor rata-rata sebesar 255. Kemudian secara lebih spesifik, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa presence of calling pada mahasiswa BK UNJ dengan efikasi diri konselor memiliki hubungan postif (p = 0,007 dan r = 0,268), sedangkan search of calling dengan efikasi diri konselor tidak memiliki hubungan positif (p = 0,217 dan r = 0,125). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kehadiran panggilan memliki hubungan positif dengan efikasi diri konselor, sedangkan pencarian panggilan karier tidak berhubungan dengan efikasi diri konselor mahasiswa prodi BK UNJ. Sehingga saran yang dapat dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan panggilan karier maupun efikasi diri konselor adalah melakukan pelatihan peningkatan kemampuan kompetensi konselor ataupun melakukan konseling dengan menggunakan teknik yang sesuai, seperti crafting dengan metode task crafting, relational carfting, atau cognitive crafting. ***** This study aims to identify the relationship between career calling and counselor self-efficacy in final semester students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program at State University of Jakarta with a sample of active students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program class of 2019 and 2018 who have taken PKM as many as 100 students. Sampling using convinience sampling technique. The correlation method with a quantitative approach was used in this study with the aim of determining the relationship between variables. Calling and Vocation Questionnaire (CVQ) and Counselor Activity Self-Efficcay (CASES) which have been tested for validity and reliability are used as measuring instruments in this study. The results obtained from this study in general are known that calling in final students of counseling UNJ has an average score of 76.17 and counselor self-efficacy has an average score of 255. Then more specifically, the results of this study indicate that the presence of calling in UNJ counseling students with counselor self-efficacy has a positive relationship (p = 0.007 and r = 0.268), while the search of calling with counselor self-efficacy does not have a positive relationship (p = 0.217 and r = 0.125). It can be concluded that the presence of a calling has a positive relationship with counselor self-efficacy, while the search for a career calling is not related to the self-efficacy of counselors of counseling study program students at UNJ. So that suggestions that can be made as an effort to improve career calling and counselor self-efficacy are to conduct training to improve counselor competency skills or conduct counseling using appropriate techniques, such as crafting with task crafting, relational crafting, or cognitive crafting methods.
