Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui “Pengaruh Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) Berbantuan Video di Mata Pelajaran IPA Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Kemampuan Sikap Ilmiah ditinjau dari Gender”. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen, dengan desain pretest posttest control group design, design by level 2x2 factorial dan design posttest control group design. Sampel penelitian menggunakan siswa kelas 5A dan 5B SDN Jati Rangon 2 Kota Bekasi. T.A 2022/2023. Instrumen berupa soal essay yang sudah memenui persyarata validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan G-gain, uji normalitas data uji homogenitas dan bersifat normal dan homogen. Anaisis dilanjutkan dengan uji two way anova dilajutkan dengan analisis independent sample T test. Hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan yaitu: pertama, Peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang diberikan pendekatan pembelajaran inquiry based learning (IBL) berbantuan video berbeda signifikan dengan pendekatan konvensional. kedua, Berdasarkan gender gabungan antara pendekatan IBL dan pendekatan konvensional kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tidak berbeda secara signifikan, namun secara rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan berpikir krtis siswa perempuan sedikit lebih tinggi dari pada laki-laki. ketiga, Berdasarkan gender pada pendekatan IBL berbantuan video kemampuan berpikir kritis laki-laki dan perempuan berbeda secara signifikan, secara rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis perempuan lebih tinggi dari pada siswa laki-laki. keempat, Berdasarkan gender pada pendekatan konvensional tidak terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis yang signifikan antara laki-laki dan perempuan, secara rata-rata nilai siswa perempuan sedikit lebih tinggi daripada nilai siswa laki-laki. kelima, Interaksi antara pendekatan dan gender tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Namun secara rata-rata-rata berdasarkan “Gender” kemampuan berpikir kritis perempuan lebih tinggi daripada laki-laki dan berdasarkan “Pendekatan” kemampuan berpikir kritis pendekatan IBL berbantuan video lebih tinggi daripada pendekatan konvensional, serta berdasarkan “Pendekatan Pembelajaran * Jenis Kelamin” pada pendekatan IBL berbantuan video kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa perempuan lebih tinggi dibanding laki-laki pada pendekatan konvensional kemampan berpiki kritis siswa perempuan sedikit lebih tinggi daripada siswa laki-laki. keenam. Sikap ilmiah siswa yang diberikan perlakuan pendekatan pembelajaran IBL berbantuan video lebih tinggi daripada pendekatan konvensional. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan pembelajaran IBL berbantuan video dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan sikap ilmiah di pembelajaran IPA siswa kelas V sekolah dasar pada materi alat gerak hewan dan manusia dan menjaga kesehatan alat gerak Kata Kunci: Inquiry Based Learning, Berpikir Kritis, Sikap Ilmiah, Berbantuantan Video Abstract This research aims to determine "The Effect of Video-Assisted Inquiry Based Learning (IBL) in Science Subjects on Critical Thinking Ability and Scientific Attitude Ability in terms of Gender". The problem in this research is the low critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This research uses a quasi-experimental method, with a pretest posttest control group design, design by level 2x2 factorial and posttest control group design. The research sample used students in classes 5A and 5B at SDN Jati Rangon 2 Bekasi City. Year 2022/2023. The instrument is in the form of essay questions that have met the requirements for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses G-gain, normality test, data homogeneity test and is normal and homogeneous. The analysis was continued with a two way anova test followed by independent sample T test analysis. The results of the research concluded that: first, the increase in students' critical thinking skills given the video-assisted inquiry based learning (IBL) learning approach is significantly different from the conventional approach. secondly, based on gender, the combination of the IBL approach and the conventional approach of students' critical thinking abilities is not significantly different, but on average the increase in critical thinking abilities of female students is slightly higher than that of male students. third, based on gender in the video-assisted IBL approach, the critical thinking abilities of men and women are significantly different, on average women's critical thinking abilities are higher than male students. fourth, based on gender, in the conventional approach there is no significant difference in critical thinking abilities between men and women, on average the scores of female students are slightly higher than the scores of male students. fifth, the interaction between approach and gender is not significantly different. However, on average, based on "Gender" the critical thinking ability of women is higher than men and based on "Approach" the critical thinking ability of the video-assisted IBL approach is higher than the conventional approach, and based on "Learning Approach * Gender" the approach In video-assisted IBL, female students' critical thinking abilities are higher than male students. In the conventional approach, female students' critical thinking abilities are slightly higher than male students. sixth. The scientific attitude of students who were treated with the video-assisted IBL learning approach was higher than the conventional approach. It was concluded that there is an influence of the video-assisted IBL learning approach which can improve critical thinking skills and scientific attitudes in science learning for fifth grade elementary school students on animal and human locomotor material and maintain locomotor health .
