Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu apakah terdapat pengaruh dari Self-disclosure dan family origin terhadap kualitas hubungan romantis pada dewasa awal yang menjalani hubungan berpacaran jarak jauh (Long-distance relationship). Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan instrumen penelitian yang berupa kuesioner kepada 250 responden yang terdiri dari 159 perempuan dan 91 laki-laki. Responden memiliki krititeria yakni berusia 18-40 tahun yang sedang menjalani hubungan LDR minimal 6 bulan. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur self-dislocure adalah Revised self-disclosure scale, sementara untuk mengukur Family Origin menggunakan alat ukur Family of origin scale, dan alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur kualitas hubungan romantis adalah Perceived relationship quality components. Uji statistik yang dilakukan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah Analisis Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa nilai signifikansi yang didapatkan adalah sebesar 0,021 yang lebih rendah dari 0,05. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara self-disclosure dan Family Origin terhadap Kualitas Hubungan Romantis pada dewasa awal yang menjalani hubungan jarak jauh (LDR). The aim of this study is to figure out the influence of self-disclosure and family origin on the romantic relationship quality in early adulthood that are in Long-Distance Relationship (LDR). The research method used in this research is quantitative method. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire to 250 respondents consisting of 159 women and 91 men. Respondents have criteria, namely 18-40 years old who are included in the category of early adulthood and in a long-distance relationship for the last 6 months. The measuring instrument used to measure self-disclosure is the Revised self-disclosure scale, while to measure family origin, the Family of origin scale is used, and for the Romantic Relationship Quality, the Perceived relationship quality components is used. The statistical test conducted to test the hypothesis is the Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the significance level for a given hypothesis test is 0,021 which are less than 0,05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of self-disclosure and family origin on the romantic relationship quality in early adulthood that are in Long-Distance Relationship (LDR).
