Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pemarkah kohesi dan koherensi dalam Berita Liga Italia dari situs Bola.net. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jakarta sejak Kamis, 6 Januari 2020 hingga Juni 2023. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teori kohesi dan koherensi. Peneliti menggunakan delapan teks berita sepak bola Liga Italia dari situs Bola.net. Ditemukan pemarkah kohesi gramatikal dan kohesi leksikal. Pemarkah kohesi gramatikal tersebut meliputi konjungsi, substitusi, ellipsis, dan rujukan. Sedangkan kohesi leksikal meliputi repetisi, sinonim, hiponim, meronim, antonim, kolokasi penuh, dan ekuivalensi leksikal. Dari total 151 kalimat dan 143 pasangan kalimat, terdapat 51 pemarkah kohesi gramatikal dan 79 untuk kohesi leksikal. Sedangan total kalimat/pasangan kalimat yang memiliki hubungan koherensi yaitu 18. Pemarkah kohesi gramatikal yang paling banyak adalah konjungsi dan rujukan dengan 12 pemarkah, sedangkan untuk kohesi leksikal adalah repetisi dengan 29 pemarkah. Untuk koherensi, ditemukan hubungan penambahan dan hubungan sebab-akibat. Data yang paling banyak dari koherensi yaitu hubungan sebab akibat dengan jumlah 15. Kata kunci: berita, koherensi, kohesi. ************ This study goals to determine the markers of cohesion and coherence in Italian League News from the Bola.net website. This research was held in Jakarta since Thursday, January 6, 2020 until June 2023. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach with the theory of cohesion and coherence. Researchers used eight football news texts of Italian League from the Bola.net website. Markers of grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion were found. The markers of grammatical cohesion include conjunctions, substitutions, ellipsis, and references. Meanwhile, lexical cohesion includes repetition, synonyms, hyponyms, meronyms, antonyms, full collocations, and lexical equivalences. From a total of 151 sentences and 143 pairs of sentences, there are 51 markers for grammatical cohesion and 79 for lexical cohesion. While the total number of sentences/sentence pairs that have a coherence relationship is 18. The most frequent markers of grammatical cohesion are conjunctions and references with 12 markers, while for lexical cohesion are repetitions with 29 markers. For coherence, addition and causal relationships were found. The most data from coherence is the causal relationship with 15. Keywords: news, coherence, cohesion.
