Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi perbandingan tingkat niat karir berwirausaha pada peserta didik SMK dan SMA di Jakarta. Penelitian menggunakan metode komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 309 responden yang melibatkan peserta didik SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta dan SMA Negeri 27 Jakarta. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang akan digunakan menggunakan jenis teknik non-probabilitas sampling dengan teknik targated sampling. Targeted sampling atau biasa disebut juga dengan quota sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan intrumen Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ) dengan bentuk google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pebedaan tingkat niat karir wirausaha peserta didik SMK dan SMA sebesar 3% yaitu tingkat niat karir wirausaha peserta didik SMK memiliki skor 76% dengan kategori tinggi dan tingkat niat karir wirausaha peserta didik SMA memiliki skor 73% dengan kategori tinggi. Hal tersebut ditandai dengan sikap peserta didik yang cenderung mampu bersikap kreatif dan inovatif. Peserta didik pun cenderung memiiki keinginan untuk memperoleh pendapatan yang tinggi pada pekerjaan di masa mendatang. Melalui uji beda, didapatkan nilai signifikansi (2-failed) sebesar 0,43 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan. Penelitian berhasil membuktikan perbedaan tingkat niat karir wirausaha pada peserta didik SMK dan SMA dengan memberikan keterbaruan data perbandingan tingkat niat karir wirausaha peserta didik SMK dan SMA khususnya di Ibu Kota Jakarta. Hasil penelitian dapat dijadikan landasan dasar program BK dalam bidang perencanaan karir, landasan dasar pihak sekolah dan stakeholder untuk mendukung mengembangan dan memfasilitasi karir masa depan peserta didik khususnya jenjang SMK dan SMA melalui pendidikan kewirausahaan, seminar kewirausahaan dan praktik pembuatan produk kewirausahaan. The aim of the study was to investigate the comparison of the level of entrepreneurial career intention among vocational and high school students in Jakarta. This research uses a comparative method with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study were 309 respondents involving students from SMK Negeri 31 Jakarta and SMA Negeri 27 Jakarta. The sampling technique to be used uses a non-probability sampling technique with a targeted sampling technique. Targeted sampling or also known as quota sampling. Data collection was carried out using the Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ) instrument in the form of a Google form. The results showed that the level of entrepreneurial career intention of SMK and SMA students was 3%, namely the entrepreneurial career intention level of SMK students had a score of 76% in the high category and the entrepreneurial career intention level of SMA students had a score of 73% in the high category. This is marked by the attitude of students who tend to be creative and innovative. Students also tend to have a desire to earn high income at work in the future. Through a different test, a significance value (2-failed) was obtained of 0.43, which means there is a significant difference. The study succeeded in proving differences in the level of entrepreneurial career intention among vocational and high school students by providing up-to-date comparative data on the level of entrepreneurial career intention among vocational and high school students, especially in the capital city of Jakarta. The results of the research can be used as the basic foundation for the counseling program in the field of career planning, the basic foundation for schools and stakeholders to support the development and facilitate future careers of students, especially at the vocational and high school levels through entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship seminars and the practice of making entrepreneurial products.
