Abstract
Hipotermia merupakan penurunan suhu tubuh dibawah batas normal yang dapat terjadi pada tubuh manusia. Menghangatkan tubuh menjadi upaya pencegahan hipotermia agar suhu tubuh kembali normal dan salah satu cara adalah menggunakan jaket. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan suatu jaket yang beroperasi dengan sistem dan rangkaian mekatronika yang secara otomatis on/off dan dapat diatur kehangatannya, serta portabel atau lepas-pasang sehingga mencegah hipotermia bagi pengguna jaket elektrik tersebut. Metode pada penelitian ini berbasis Research and Development (R and D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) dan merujuk pada komparasi penelitian terdahulu, yang kemudian dilakukan pengembangan alat serta diuji coba lapangan. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitan ini adalah jaket elektrik berfungsi optimal dengan rata-rata suhu tubuh pengguna 34,59℃ dan suhu lingkungan rata-rata berkisar 21,86℃ serta durasi jaket elektrik bekerja selama 26 menit. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa jaket elektrik pada penelitian ini berfungsi dengan baik dalam menghangatkan tubuh untuk mencegah hipotermia di area bertemperatur rendah. Hypothermia is a decrease in body temperature below normal limits that can occur in the human body. Warming the body becomes an effort to prevent hypothermia so that the body temperature returns to normal and one way is to use a jacket. This research aims to develop a jacket that operates with mechatronic systems and circuits that are automatically on/off and can be adjusted for warmth, as well as portable or removable so as to prevent hypothermia for users of the electric jacket. The method in this research is based on Research and Development (R and D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) and refers to the comparison of previous research, which is then carried out tool development and field trials. The results obtained in this research are that the electric jacket functions optimally with the average user body temperature ranging from 34,59 ℃ and the average ambient temperature ranging from 21,86℃ and the duration of the electric jacket working for 26 minutes. Thus it can be concluded that the electric jacket in this study functions well in warming the body to prevent hypothermia in low temperature areas.
