Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh data mengenai dampak tradisi nganjor terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi pada masyarakat Baduy Luar di tiga Desa yaitu Desa Kanekes, Desa Cisimeut dan Desa Sankanwangi, Kabupaten Lebak, Banten. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran secara jelas mengenai faktor pendorong masyarakat melakukan tradisi nganjor serta perubahan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Baduy Luar akibat adanya tradisi nganjor, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Beberapa teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan wawancara semi terstruktur, observasi berpartisipasi, analisis dokumen dan catatan lapangan. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama empat bulan dari Februari sampai Juni 2019. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa faktor pendorong masyarakat Baduy Luar melakukan tradisi nganjor adalah karena ekonomi, sosial dan aturan adat. Dampak perubahan sosial ekonomi akibat adanya tradisi nganjor adalah karena adanya pola-pola kehidupan diluar Kanekes yang tidak sesuai dengan hukum adat yang berimplikasi terhadap perubahan sosial masyarakat. Dampak perubahan sosial yang terjadi, yaitu perubahan pola perilaku yang ditandai dengan orientasi terhadap pendidikan, pola pikir yang sudah maju dan penggunaan teknologi modern, lalu secara ekonomi pendapatan masyarakat lebih meningkat, jika dibandingkan dengan kondisi sebelum dan sesudah nganjor. Kemudian dampak terakhir yaitu bergesernya ritual atau tradisi angklungan karena saat ini pola pikir masyarakat Baduy luar sudah semakin maju mereka sudah mampu mengukur keuntungan dan kerugian jika melaksanakan tardisi ini. This research aims to obtain data on the impact of the tradition of nganjoron socio-economic changes in the Outer Baduy community in three villages namely Kanekes Village, Cisimeut Village and Sankanwangi Village, Lebak Regency, Banten. To get a clear description of the causative factor of the society's tradition of nganjorand the socio-economic changes of the Outer Baduy community due to the tradition of nganjor, the author uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques carried out were semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, analysis of documents and field notes. This research was conducted for four months from February to June2019. The results of the study concluded that the causative factor of the Outer Baduy society's in carrying out the tradition of nganjorwas due to economic, social and customary rules. The impact of socio-economic changes due to the tradition of nganjor is due to the existence of patterns of life outside of Kanekes that are not in accordance with customary law which has implications for social change in society. The impact of social change that occurs, namely changes in behavior patterns that are characterized by an orientation to education, an advanced mindset and the use of modern technology, then economically people's income increases more, compared to the conditions before and after the nganjortradition. Then the final impact is the changes of ritualsor traditional traditions because at this time the mindset of the outer Baduy society's has become more advanced, they have been able to measure profits and losses when implementing this traditions
