Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kondisi masyarakat Pulau Pramuka sebelum dan sesudah adanya pariwisata, dan juga untuk mengetahui dampak pariwisata membawa perubahan pada kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Pulau Pramuka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah masyarakat Pulau Pramuka yaitu pelaku ekonomi sekaligus masyarakat Pulau Pramuka. Lokasi penelitian berpusat di wilayah Pulau Pramuka, Kepulauan Seribu, dan Kantor Suku Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan, Kepulauan Seribu. Teknik Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan pengamatan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari tanggal 08 Maret sampai dengan 25 Maret 2019. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pariwisata membawa perubahan dalam kehidupan masyarakat Pulau Pramuka. Pariwisata yang berkembang membawa perubahan dalam kondisi masyarakat yang sebelumnya memiki pemikiran yang tradisional menjadi rasionalis. Hal ini dilihat dari pemikiran mereka yang lebih kreatif dan inovasi setelah adanya pengembangan pariwisata. Pariwisata juga memberikan dampak pada keadaan infrastruktur Pulau Pramuka yang semakin lengkap, sistem kerja yang sebelumnya menganut panguyuban menjadi patembayan, dan keberagaman mata pencaharian masyarakat serta peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat Pramuka. Tourism and Socio-Economic Change in Coastal Communities (Case Study : Pramuka Island, Thousand Islands) Thesis, Jakarta: Program Study Sociology of Development, Faculty of Social Science, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, 2019. The purpose of this study is to determine how the condition of the Pramuka Island community before and after tourism, and also to determine the impact of wether the tourism bring changes to the socio-economic life of the Pramuka Island community or not. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The subjects of the research were The Pramuka Island community, which were economic actors as well as the Pramuka Island community. This research location in Pramuka Island, Thousand islands, and the office of Tourism and Culture Department, Thousand Island. Data collection in this research use observation method, interview, and observation. This research was carried out from 8 March until 25 March 2019. Based on the research result, tourism change socio-economic life among coastal communities in Pramuka Island. For example, tourism change traditional though into rational though among coastal communities in Pramuka Island. This can be seen from their creative though and their inovasion after tourism sector exist around coastal community. Tourism also give an impact to infrastructure around Pramuka Island which is better than before, work systems that previously adopted panguyuban become patembayan, and diversity of community livelihoods and economic improvement among society.
