Abstract

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pengembangan Kampung Wisata Balimester. Skripsi. Program Studi Usaha Perjalanan Wisata, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Kampung wisata merupakan konsep pariwisata yang menjadikan masyarakat sebagai peran utama yang dapat mengembangkan wisata karena hasil kegiatan wisata diperuntukkan untuk masyarakat. Proses pemberdayaan masyarakat menjadi salah satu upaya yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat untuk mengembangkan kampung wisatanya. Kawasan Balimester memiliki kawasan strategi dan berpotensi menjadi urban tourism. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui potensi wisata yang dimiliki Balimester dan upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai Teknik mengumpulkan data. Sumber data menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan sebagai teknis menganalisis data serta Nvivo 12 sebagai alat analisa data kualitatif. Uji keabsahan data dengan triangulasi sumber, metode, dan waktu. Dari hasil dan temuan penelitian bahwa proses pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui tiga proses yaitu proses penyadaran, proses pengkapasitasan, dan proses pendayaan. Kata kunci: Kampung wisata, pemberdayaan masyarakat, kelompok sadar wisata Community Empowerment Based the Development of Balimester Tourism Village. Thesis. The concept of tourist villages makes the community the main actors who can develop tourism because the results of tourism activities are intended for the community. Empowering the community is one effort that can increase the knowledge and skills of the community to develop tourist villages. The Balimester area has strategic areas and potential to become urban tourism. The purpose of this research is to determine the tourism potential possessed by Balimester and efforts to empower the community through tourism development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. Data sources include primary and secondary data. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are used as techniques for analyzing data, with NVivo 12 used as a tool for qualitative data analysis. Data validity is tested through source triangulation, method, and time. From the results and findings of the research, the process of empowering the community involves three processes: awareness-raising process, capacity-building process, and empowerment process.
