Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pekerja tambang batu kapur dan tingkat kesejahteraan keluarga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Simple Random Sampling sebanyak 85 pekerja tambang. Teknis analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriftif dengan mendeskripsikan hasil penelitian dalam bentuk frekuensi dan presentase yang ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabel. Karakteristik pekerja tambang batu kapur dilihat dari beberapa faktor diantaranya Tingkat pendidikan, Jumlah Tanggungan, Pendapatan, dan Kondisi Tempat tinggal. Kesejahteraan keluarga dinilai menurut indikator-indikator tingkat Keluarga Sejahtera yang terdiri dari kebutuhan dasar, kebutuhan sosial psikologis, kebutuhan perkembangan, dan kebutuhan aktualisasi diri. Berdasarkan kriteria tersebut kemudian dikategorikan menjadi Keluarga Pra Sejahtera, Keluarga Sejahtera 1, Keluarga Sejahtera 2, Keluarga Sejahtera 3 dan Keluarga Sejahtera 3 Plus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Tingkat Pendidikan pekerja tambang hanya sampai lulusan SD sebanyak 66%. Mayoritas pendapatan pekerja tambang masih di bawah UMK yaitu >Rp. 2.000.000 – Rp. 2.700.000 sebanyak 84%. Jumlah tanggungan dalam keluarga tergolong keluarga kecil karena jumlahnya tidak lebih dari 3 orang. Kondisi tempat tinggal pekerja tambang tergolong jenis bangunan semi permanen sebanyak 58%. Tingkat kesejahteraan keluarga pekerja tambang mayoritas tergolong ke dalam keluarga sejahtera 1 (miskin) sebanyak 48%. Kata Kunci: Sosial, Ekonomi, Tingkat Kesejahteraan Keluarga. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of limestone mining workers and the level of family welfare. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The sampling technique used simple random sampling of 85 miners. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis by describing the result of research in the form of frequencies and precentages displayed in tabular form. socio-economic characteristics of limestone mining workers are seen from several factors including the level of education, the number of family dependents, income, and living condition. The level of family welfare is assessed according to the prosperous family level indicators. Consisting of basic needs, psychological social needs, developmental needs, and self-actualization needs, based on these criteria then categorized into a pre-prosperous family, a prosperous family 1, a prosperous family 2, a prosperous family 3, and prosperous family plus. The result showed that the level of education of miners only of to primary school was 66%, the majority of miners incomes are still below UMK which is more than 2 million as much as 84%. The number of dependents is classified as small families because the number is not more than 3 people. The conditions of residence of miners workers are classified as semi-permanent buildings by 58%. The welfare level of the majority of miners workers families is classified as prosperous family 1 (Poor) as much as 48%. Keyword: Social, Economic, Family Welfare Level.
