Abstract

ABSTRAK FAUZIYAH. Strategi Penerjemahan Subtitle dalam “Video Pesan dari Jerman | Dr. Georg Witschel”. Skripsi. Jakarta: Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Jerman. Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Desember. 2019 Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi penerjemahan subtitle apa saja yang terdapat dalam video yang berjudul “Video Pesan dari Jerman | Dr. Georg Witschel”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Teori strategi penerjemahan subtitle yang digunakan adalah teori dari Gottlieb. Terdapat 10 strategi penerjemahan subtitle yang diklasifikasikan oleh Gottlieb, yakni:Expansion (Penambahan), Paraphrase (Parafrasa), Transfer, Imitation (Imitasi), Transcription (Transkripsi), Dislocation (Dislokasi), Condensation (Kondensasi), Decimation (Desimasi), Deletion (Penghapusan) dan Resignation. Dari hasil analisis data ditemukan bahwa dari 10 strategi penerjemahan subtitle terdapat 6 strategi yang diterapkan dalam “Video Pesan dari Jerman | Dr. Georg Witschel”, yaitu Transfer, Expansion (Penambahan), Paraphrase (Parafrasa), Transcription (Transkripsi), Condensation (Kondensasi)dan Deletion (Penghapusan). Adapun strategi penerjemahan subtitle lain yang tidak terdapat dalam video tersebut, yaitu Imitation (Imitasi), Dislocation (Dislokasi), Decimation (Desimasi) dan Resignation. December. 2019 The purpose of this research is to analyze the subtitling strategies contained in the video entitled "Video Message from Germany | Dr. Georg Witschel ". The method of this research was descriptive qualitative with literature study techniques. The theory of subtitling strategies that was used is the theory of Gottlieb. There are 10 subtitling strategies classified by Gottlieb, namely: Expansion, Paraphrase, Transfer, Imitation, Transcription, Dislocation, Condensation, Condensation, Deletion and Resignation. From the results of data analysis it was found that from 10 subtitling strategies there were 6 strategies implemented in "Video Pesan dari Jerman | Dr. Georg Witschel ”, i.e. Transfer, Expansion, Paraphrase, Transcription, Condensation and Deletion. The other subtitling strategies that are not contained in the video, namely Imitation, Dislocation, Decimation and Resignation. Keywords: Subtitling Strategy. The video.
