Abstract

Studi ini mengevaluasi performa jaringan LAN di CV Arsi Labora Utama, fokus pada peningkatan efisiensi dan layanan bagi karyawan. Integrasi teknologi komputer dan komunikasi telah memungkinkan pengolahan data yang lebih efisien dan fasilitasi berbagi data serta integrasi sistem di perusahaan. Namun, CV Arsi Labora Utama menghadapi tantangan dengan jaringan yang tidak optimal, seperti koneksi lambat dan rentan terhadap serangan virus. Implementasi teknologi seperti load balancing, VLAN untuk keamanan dan efisiensi, NAT untuk mengamankan akses internet, serta DHCP untuk manajemen alamat IP telah direncanakan untuk memperbaiki situasi ini. Evaluasi berfokus pada parameter kualitas layanan seperti delay, jitter, dan throughput, sementara pengujian QoS dan uji konektivitas dilakukan untuk memastikan jaringan berkinerja tinggi. Studi ini mengusulkan optimalisasi melalui implementasi Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) lengkap, dari analisis kebutuhan hingga pemeliharaan berkelanjutan, untuk memastikan jaringan mendukung operasional perusahaan secara efektif dan aman di era digital. ***** This study evaluates the performance of the LAN network at CVArsi LaboraUtama, focusing on improving efficiency and service delivery for employees. Theintegration of computer and communication technologies has enabled moreefficient data processing and facilitated data sharing and systemintegration withinthe company. However, CV Arsi Labora Utama faces challenges with suboptimal network conditions, such as slow internet connections and vulnerability tovirusattacks. To address these issues, technologies like load balancing, VLANs for security and efficiency, NAT for secure internet access, and DHCP for IPaddressmanagement have been planned for implementation. Evaluation focuses onservice quality parameters like delay, jitter, and throughput, with QoS testingandconnectivity checks ensuring high network performance. This study proposesoptimization through a complete Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) implementation, from needs analysis to ongoing maintenance, to ensure thenetwork effectively supports the company's operations securely in the digital age.
