Abstract

Pemeliharaan dan pemantauan performa engine CFM56-7B harus dilakukan untuk mencegah kegagalan dan kerusakan engine lebih awal. Selain itu, dengan memastikan kinerja performa engine ada dalam nilai yang optimal, juga dapat memperpanjang umur komponen serta meningkatkan keselamatan penerbangan. Kegagalan engine dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya dapat dilihat dari parameter-parameter performa engine yang dapat dipantau pada display unit (DU) yang ada di kokpit. Berdasarkan data pilot report mulai tanggal 16 Februari 2019 sampai 19 Februari 2024 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 10 kasus yang tercatat dengan problem terkait indikasi fuel flow yang abnormal pada engine CFM56-7B pesawat Boeing 737-800. 3 diantaranya terselesaikan setelah dilakukan troubleshoot dengan melakukan pergantian komponen fuel flow transmitter, yaitu komponen yang berfungsi sebagai alat pengukur aliran massa bahan bakar yang akan mengalir menuju combustion chamber. Penelitian perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur komponen fuel flow transmitter terhadap parameter fuel flow dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier sederhana. Data yang digunakan menggunakan data umur komponen dalam Time Since New (TSN) yaitu data umur komponen dari saat komponen dibuat dan data pengujian engine run-up pada fase engine idle power dan take-off power. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah hubungan antara komponen fuel flow transmitter dalam TSN terhadap parameter fuel flow pada fase engine idle power maupun pada fase engine take-off power ditemukan nilai (r) pada fase idle power yaitu 0,1463453 sehingga terdapat hubungan positif sangat lemah dan fase take-off power yaitu -0,220649 memiliki hubungan negatif yang lemah. Model regresi linier yang digunakan hanya bisa memberikan gambaran sangat kecil atas pengaruh pada variabel parameter fuel flow terlihat dari nilai R^2 hanya 2.1% - 4.8%. ***** Maintenance and performance monitoring of CFM56-7B engines must be performed to prevent early engine failure and damage. In addition, by ensuring the engine performance is at an optimal value, it can also extend the life of components and improve flight safety. Engine failure can be caused by several factors, one of which can be seen from engine performance parameters that can be monitored on the display unit (DU) in the cockpit. Based on pilot report data from 16 February 2019 to 19 February 2024, there were 10 cases recorded with problems related to abnormal fuel flow indications on the CFM56-7B engine of Boeing 737-800 aircraft. 3 of them were resolved after troubleshooting with the replacement of the fuel flow transmitter component, which is a component that functions as a measuring device for the mass flow of fuel that will flow into the combustion chamber. Research needs to be done to determine the effect of the age of the fuel flow transmitter component on fuel flow parameters using the simple linear regression method. The data used uses component age data in Time Since New (TSN), namely component age data from when the component is made and engine run-up test data in the idle power and take-off power engine phases. The results obtained are the relationship between the fuel flow transmitter component in TSN to fuel flow parameters in the engine idle power phase and in the engine take-off power phase found the value (r) in the idle power phase is 0.1463453 so there is a very weak positive relationship and the take-off power phase is -0.220649 has a very weak influence. The linear regression model used can only provide a very small picture of the influence on the fuel flow parameter variable as seen from the R^2 value of only 2.1% - 4.8%.
