Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran keaksaraan anak usia dini melalui media digital berbasis game edukasi yang layak dan efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian R & D (Research and Development) yang mengkolaborasikan 3 model pengembangan yaitu model Borg & Gall, model Dick & Carey, dan model Lee & Owen. Langkah pertama adalah melakukan analisis kebutuhan pengembangan model, analisis kurikulum dan analisis terhadap karakteristik pembelajaran sebagai dasar dalam merancang desain awal model pembelajaran keaksaraan anak usia dini melalui media berbasis game edukasi. Selanjutnya hasil evaluasi formatif yang mengkaji kelayakan model yang dikembangkan menunjukan penilaian ahli materi pada aspek berorientasi pada tujuan, kejelasan pembelajaran (clarity of instruction), dan kelayakan (feasibility) dengan perolehan penilaian pada kategori sangat baik; Penilaian ahli desain instruksional pada aspek berorientasi pada tujuan, kejelasan pembelajaran (clarity of instruction), dan kelayakan (feasibility) memperolehan penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik; selanjutnya penilaian ahli media pada aspek tampilan (display), kualitas (teks, suara, musik, gambar & animasi), navigasi, kekuatan produk sebesar (robustness), dan mekanisme user dengan sistem/produk (interface), dengan perolehan penilaian kategori baik; evaluasi one-to-one dengan peserta didik memperoleh penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik, evaluasi small group juga menunjukan perolehan penilaian dengan kategori sangat baik, terakhir evaluasi tahap field trial memperoleh penilaian dengan kesimpulan sangat baik. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran keaksaraan anak usia dini melalui media digital berbasis game edukasi layak untuk digunakan. Adapun hasil uji efektivitas menggunakan desain pretest-postest menunjukan efektif dengan kategori tinggi. Dengan demikian bahwa model pembelajaran keaksaraan anak usia dini melalui media digital berbasis game yang dikembangkan efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar keaksaraan anak usia dini. The aim of this research is to develop a model for early childhood literacy learning through game-based education digital media that is feasible and effective. This research uses R & D (Research and Development) research which collaborates 3 development models, namely the Borg & Gall model, the Dick & Carey model, and the Lee & Owen model. The first step is to carry out an analysis of model development needs, curriculum analysis and analysis of learning characteristics as a basis for designing the initial design of an early childhood literacy learning model through game-based media. Furthermore, the results of the formative evaluation which examined the feasibility of the model being developed showed material expert assessments on aspects of goal-orientation, clarity of instruction, and feasibility with an assessment obtained in the very good category; The instructional design expert's assessment of the goal-oriented aspects, clarity of instruction, and feasibility obtained an assessment in the very good category; Next, media experts assess the aspects of display, quality (text, sound, music, images & animation), navigation, product strength (robustness), and user mechanism with the system/product (interface), with a good category assessment; one-to-one evaluation with students getting an assessment in the very good category, small group evaluation also showed an assessment in the very good category, finally the field trial stage evaluation obtained an assessment with a very good conclusion. So it is concluded that the early childhood literacy learning model through digital media based on educational games is suitable for use. The results of the effectiveness test using a pretest-posttest design show that it is effective in the high category. Thus, the model for early childhood literacy learning through game-based digital media that has been developed is effective in improving early childhood literacy learning outcomes.
